Do you know if you can do it via mobile as it's just bringing me to the app with no mention of any offer.

    Thanks

why do they put 2.5? Over 2 is perfectly sufficient.

Over 2.5 because if it was over/under 2 then what would happen if there were 2 goals?
the .5 guarantees only 2 outcomes
    you lose.

That wouldn't work . If you just said 2 there would be three possible outcomes ( under , exactly and over ) instead of two when it's 2.5 ( under or over ).

    Phew

Yes, you would lose. But the bookmaker would have to offer 'exactly 2 goals' so that all options were covered.
Over/Under 2.5 means there are only 2 outcomes

    Columbia V Ivory Coast - Over 2.5 goals 11-10

Rooney to break his world cup duck - Score anytime 13-5

Italy and Uruguay to draw currently 15/8. Presuming Italy win tomorrow, a draw would see both through if we beat Costa Rica. Can see them passing it around the centre circle for an hour if news comes through that England are winning.

That's Seriously bad odds. There's more chance of me knitting fog than us qualifying.

What is the treble on Italy win, Italy win. , England win?
  • At a guess,

    Italy 4/7 bt Costa Rica
    England 8/11 bt Costa Rica
    Italy Evs Bt Uruguay

Works out about 9/2 so 7/1 to qualify is decent price if all three games go that way

Can't believe they will have us at 8-11 to beat Costa Rica . Odds on ! That's just silly. 2-1 or 7-4 is more realistic

We done an office sweepstake for the correct score and minute of the 1st goal yesterday. My mate said Uruguay 2-1 and the 39th minute. He won a massive £20. Would love to know the odds he would have got for that in the bookies.

Well picking the minute would be 90/1….then you have to fraction in the fact there would need to be another 2 goals after and the majority of those going to Uruguay. Thats a 90/1 going onto a 10/1 say. So 900/1.
