Gomez doesn't look uncomfortable or out of place at all! I was previously in he give him a year camp but now I'm thinking he may have an impact on this season.. although championship strikers may be a completely different prospect..1

Not playing badly IMO, the youngster number 7 on the right wing seems to have a bit about him.
Bikey & Gomez both looking quite assured.
Vetokele looks decent too.
The only player who looks seriously off the pace of the game is Piotr but considering it is our first 90 minute game, so it is all about fitness not much to be negative about, enjoying watching the game at the moment.0 -
Their keeper has just been stretchered off and Buyens is warming up in full kit so may be on soon.0

Oppo look sharper and fitter. Assume they are on the same curve fitness wise, as Standard.
Bikey looks pretty solid as does Gomez. Front two getting no service and midfield looking light weight.
I really hope 3g pitches don't make it into the top divisions. Yes we would probably get used to it, but the ball runs too quickly and all of our players look uncomfortable on the surface.
Bit of a concern with Igor going down like that. Hopefully Boyens and Moussa will get run outs in the second half.1 -
The players get to play a little, fitness work, Big Bob sees his new team in action, it's all good. Unlike the actual game...1
