That sounds mint - but I worry about residuals and reliability (maybe that’s just an Italian stereotype playing in my mind).

I like the Q8, but likely too big for the missus to drive comfortably. Hence why looking at Macans as opposed to Cayenne (love the Cayenne Coupe).

Just think Porsche residuals and quality is hands down above all else when I am not in Lamborghini territory financially (unless I want a divorce as part of the bargain).

A Ford Cortina once owned by England and Manchester City striker Francis Lee is up for auction.

The Ford Cortina 1600E was one of 30 loaned by Ford to the defending world champions from the England team for the duration of the World Cup in Mexico in 1970.

The white Ford Cortina parked next to a building with the England football team emblem and British and Mexican flags on it
2 things ..what use would they be if the players were in Mexico ?

I think Ford released a special edition of the escort around this time called an escort Mexico. I think Jimmy greaves drove one in some kind of rally from London to Mexico

Hard work driving that across the Atlantic, good work from Greavsie. Must have had saints looking over him.

I know the feeling, Mrs R7L drove the cayenne about twice so bought her a mini clubman to pootle about in.

Of the smaller sizes you'd be hard pushed to beat the Macan for quality. But Porsches and re-sale are all about spec, so make sure it is well spec'd and decent colour.

We run a remapping company if you're interested, and have experience of these cars, you can probably find reviews of us if you google us - FlashRemapping Limited. We are part of the Viezu group, have full underwritten insurance and lifetime software guarantee (i've become an advert). We are part of the group that have remapped all the BT fleet for economy but we specialise in performance maps, and we work for home or offer a full mobile service or garage service with dyno. It would depend what you're after quote-wise but pm me if you're interested - we'd offer a decent Charlton supporting quote obviously! If you're car is a Ralliart it will require an Ecu-tek licence. www.flashremapping.co.uk.
What’s the quote like when Charlton are rubbish?

A bit left field but how about a Maser? The Levante is out of production now but still a few new ones around.  The smaller Grecale is a very nice Macan-sized SUV.  (I love my Levante Trofeo. Just slap it in sport mode and hear that V8 roar! 580hp 0-60 in 3.8 and 188mph top speed.)
