Harry Kane

  • He had the least touches of everyone in a Bayern shirt last night, but everyone of them seemed to mean something, either hold up play, winning a free kick or sticking it top bins from 25 yards out.
  • saw a bit of a Bayern game on TV last night .. H has settled right into the Bayern (slightly bizarre) culture .. he'll be wearing lederhosen and smoking a meerschaum pipe before much longer
Ha! Yeah, that bit where they sat in front of the Bayern fans slow clapping before doing some weird dance was very odd. Harry does still look a bit bemused by it all, but he seems to be bezzie mates with Thomas Müller who appears to be the chair of the Ents Committee and leads the singing and dancing at every opportunity. 😂

    exactly lol
  • I couldn't be happier for Harry Kane or Jude Bellingham come to that.

He has redefined and perfected that number 9 role in these days of front threes by being unmarkable, by spending more time deep than a 10 would and using the wide players as runners who are also bastards to mark especially for England. Jesus does it whenever I've seen him play for arsenal as well. Such an intelligent footballer and what an economical finisher, the amount of goals he has that 90% of footballers would either not have taken a pop at or the times he has done elite level keepers at their near post is incredible
  • I have always wanted Bayern to lose in Germany and Dortmund to win the title but since Harry Kane has shown up there i want them to win for England's brilliant Captain.
Same for me. Similar in Spain with Bellingham.
Usually would love seeing Bayern and Real Madrid losing, but their English players make me not mind them so much.
Weird, because I never softened on Madrid when McManaman, Beckham, Owen or Woodgate played for them!
I think it’s the nature of the players. Kane is not just an incredible striker, he’s likeable too. And Bellingham seems mature beyond his years and has the potential to be an all time great.
I’m also watching Bayern and RM matches because of Kane and Bellingham. I’ve also just watched the highlights of Greenwood playing for Getafe in Spain. He does look a very good player and a shame that he made some serious wrong decisions otherwise his name would definitely be on the England team sheet.

Ultimately he's finally playing with players on his level (excluding Son from Spurs) and that must feel rewarding enough.
Oh come on now, so what you're saying is he'd rather be playing with Upamecano instead of Big Eric Dier, with the pace of a snail and the turning circle of a super tanker...
Erm...well this has aged well hahahahahahaha
All reeks of helping Harry Kane settle now he’s bought a house. Tbf 4m for Dier isn’t actually that bad business for Bayern.

Faubert Su fichaje por el Real Madrid podra convertirse en una serie

  • Back to his normal business, scoring goals once again. Took until 91st minute tonight helping Bayern to a 3-0 win.
  • Bayern lose at home today and are now 7 points behind Leverkusen.

After 11 consecutive titles, Kane must be cursed if he goes there and they don't win it.
  • Lost 1-0

Bayern hadn’t not scored at home in the league for 4 years
  • If they had passed to Harry they might still have that record.

Musiala and Sane don’t seem to want to give him anything
  • Bayern Munich lost at home to Werder Bremen. Now 7 points behind Leverkusen.

The Kane curse in full effect
  • Genuinely gutted for him as it looks highly likely he wins nothing again...far too good a player (and person) to go through his career not winning.  Hopefully he breaks his duck with England.

Game in hand still, would still tip them to win it come the end of the season.

Torn between wanting Kane to win something and thinking it would be nice to see someone except Bayern win the league for once.
  • Dont Bayern have history of trailing before the Winter Break and then manage to still win the title?

Really want this Leverkusen team to win the league this year. They’ve building towards this for a while and they probably won’t get another chance if the team is broken up this summer.

Bayern & Kane will win the Bundesliga next season if they don’t win it this, much less likely for Leverkusen.

Xabi Alonso will definitely go on to better things... Real Madrid or Liverpool one day?

Pretty sure he has a release clause for both.

Bayern play away to Leverkusen in 3 weeks time, if they lose that and with how this Leverkusen team are playing (25 wins and 3 draws in all comps this season) it'll be very difficult for Bayern to pull it back.

Having said that Leverkusen are notorious bottlers and have never won the Bundesliga. In 2000 they needed a draw on the last day to win the league and lost, and in 2002 they were on for a treble but blew a 5 point lead with 3 games to go, lost the German cup final and then lost the champions league final as well.

Could be at Liverpool next year?
  • Huge game this Saturday, 5.30 kick off.

    Leverkusen v Bayern.

If Bayern win they go top, if Leverkusen win they'll be 5 points clear.

Leverkusen are unbeaten in all of their 30 games this season.
  • Hardly touched the ball in a horrid night for Bayern.
    Leverkusen look good.
  • He has fully Spursed Bayern. Impressive.
  • Let's go Leverkusen!
