Agree about Pavey really like her and fantastic to see a 'journey-woman' athlete see some form of glory for her perseverance.

Crazy with Bale though. Most expensive footballer in world, scored winner in Spanish cup final and scored in Champ league final, yet wouldn't be on my radar.

Not sure what the criteria is for nationality of contenders but Barry Briggs came 2nd twice and he's a kiwi. Detorri got 3rd once as well and McGuigan won as @Folev the red‌ says
