Polish Pete is coming back as player/manager, with Anil Koc player/coach.
We're offloading Reza to Aston Villa for £7million, and signing Charlie Austin on a free after his falling out with Redknapp.5 -
Well that would clearly be a lie church £4 million?Absurdistan said:

I'm not sure @PragueAddick hoe we can be so instantly dismissive anymore to be honest.
This started yesterday on here by @Desert Red, who has history on here talking about Israeli players, stating that Israeli press were saying it

In the last year we've found of Powell going first by foreign sources, and Peeters joining from foreign sources.
If Israeli media are mentioning it with no prompting, then that must come from Luzon's contacts, and suggests there is a fairly good chance he.has been touted, lined up for something.
My instant reaction was to dismiss it this morning, but one thing I think is becoming clear. That if things don't improve soon, this might.not.be fair off at all.0 -

@Desert Red didn't do us the courtesy of sourcing his rumours. That's probably because the links don't exist. I just googled Luzon Charlton and nothing came up on the first page from Israeli sources. In the last year or so I have several times when googling people like Dudu Duhan been led to articles in the Jerusalem Post and the like. There's an active Israeli footie press, and it's a digital country. Where are the links?AFKABartram said:I'm not sure @PragueAddick hoe we can be so instantly dismissive anymore to be honest.

The following is Desert Red's "history" of talking about Israeli players. On the basis of this history i'm not going to take any notice of him until he produces some links to proper media sources...
it's official: The Valley is the dumping ground for useless washouts from Standard. Can't think of anybody worst than TBH.
we need players on the way up, not on the way down. Spot on. He's been past his best for years. No thanks. During the last 3 seasons TBH was signed but hardly played at Portsmouth, QPR and Standard. Useless.

Spot on Prague. There are zero credible and named sources on this rumour thus far.0
-
I still think Bob Peeters will last 3 seasons: Summer, autumn, and Winter.10
-
Powell should have held out.1

How is your Hebrew Prague? try this before claiming link don't exist.

Walla is the biggest website in Israel with a credible sports section. It looks like it came from Luzon people.
and btw, TBH is shite.5 -
Wouldn't surprise me. From his recent comments, Peeters has been getting frustrated for some time. He has started taking it out on the players, first TBH in the press, then JJ last Saturday. From Bikey's comments it now seems that the players are letting Peeters know what they think. My assumption is that they are pushing Peeters to stand his ground with RD and demand reinforcements. If BP were to do that, he'd be in the same position as Powell and we all know how that ended.2

There is nothing about this in The Evening Standard tonight so it must be lies.3

Nice to have a link. I was fumbling around Walla's website last night trying to find the supposed article to no avail.0
