    Now, either Mr Liddle has been reading this thread and has decided to have a bit of fun with us or the old "no smoke without fire" saying might be about to become relevant.

    Either way, a very strange thing to say.

    Having said all of that, he is a big Spurs fan, has anything gone on at Spurs today? I read something about Lloris being sold this AM.

    Sounds more like a Spurs reference, doesn't it? Really I can't imagine a press officer would think it wise to "have a bit of fun with us", even though we richly deserve it.
