I'm not surprised by this decision. After the good start that we had I think messr. Two Chalets could reasonably have expected a shot a the play-offs but we're now heading for a Relegation scrap. I just hope the new 'head Coach' can inspire the players that we have to play with confidence and some attractive, attacking football. Have a feeling it's gonna be this Guy Luzon fella, mind which doesn't bode well ...
Shocking decision. A rough run lately but he is tactically aware and has improved the standard of football enormously. Why would another network unknown do any better?
Bloody hell you watching the same team as me for the last 3 months ?
Thing is, a managerial change normally brings excitement.
We know however there is a good chance it will be this Luzon flop, inexperienced Freye, or some other Belgium or network related non-entity. Riga maybe, but his chance to build on his momentum was six months ago.
Can understand why so many are becoming a bit exhausted with this club. It's not just losing games, it's losing it's soul and it's losing it's character.
@airmanbrown: #cafc boss Bob Peeters: "I think we can now all see the light at the end of the tunnel." Maybe someone needs to warn him that it's a train!

@airmanbrown: @airmanbrown #cafc update - the train's collided with Bob. Roland was driving. What a shambles!
Hmmm I think that Peters is/was part of the problem, but not the biggest part. How about signing Capt EJ Smith, he was a great Captain of a sinking ship, i feel we may need him.
Not happy that Bob has been sacked. Yes we are on a bad run but we are 14th with a very small team that was never going to go up into the premiership or go back down to league 1. But I'm still a proud Charlton fan
Our club is becoming a lot like game of thrones, no point getting attached to any characters because the producers/RD will just kill them off before the end of the first flipping season.

The football has been a lot better than it was under Powell, other than the Blackburn cup game and for the first half yesterday
As a long term, loyal supporter, ITK , said a few minutes ago, the Jan window was unlikely to be utilised ( apart from TW) whilst there was a question mark over the current manager.
So, although I have felt sorry for Bob at times recently, this is probably a welcome decision for both fans and players and ends once & for all the speculation and uncertaincy.
I am presuming that RD has someone lined up and ready to ride into The Valley on his/her white charger and that tomorrow afternoon's U21 game at SL will see a few more onlookers than usual.
My heart says Jose Riga but then I query whether RD would make what some would see as a U turn. And Jose would invariably demand at minimum the rest of this season and the next.

This league doesn't require 'attractive' football. Look at Ipswich for confirmation of that. It needs results no matter how you get them.

I still want Riga.

The light he saw was indeed a train
; )
Getting sick of seeing his mug!

So, place your bets, folks.
Is that bell still ringing ?
Riga would be mad to take the job but I would have him back.
Peeters the latest to suffer from starting too well. Winless in 9, sure, but were Charlton expecting better than 14th before season's start?"
Look forward to Jose Riga, or anyway some new manager bounce.
