Second time this commentator has said COVID (as in Coventry) and not COVID (as in Cove-id). Nobody else in the universe says it like that and it’s doing my head in.
If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a thousand times:
Clive Tyldesley is a cushion-faced prick.
He’s possibly the worst commentator there has ever been. Until he taught Sam Matterface everything he knows, that is.

Only started watching in the second half.  All Palace so far.  Can’t speak for the first half, but Millwall don’t look up for it at all.

There has never been a bigger gap between the Premier League and below. Millwall have been beat by one player.

Why are there about five Palace fans spread out in the lower tier?

The first half was the other way round

The knee obfuscation is or was ridiculous.
There is no complexity, it wasn’t West Ham supporting journalists disguised as Millwall fans.
The knee was taken and it was more roundly booed than I have heard anywhere else.
    That is that.

It’s that ground , even we go a bit stupid when there with throwing shit

Can’t say I’m happy Palace are winning but am very glad Millwall are losing.

I'd have been more suprised if the Neanderthal pricks had clapped.

  • Must've been some half time team talk from Vieira, completely different side this half.

Annoyingly he seems like being a decent manager.

Family club reverting to type - what looked like half full plastic bottle of Coke thrown at Olise and hit him on head

Olise hit in the head with a bottle of water thrown from the crowd.

Must be West Ham fans sitting in the home end again

Olise is far too good for these arseholes, I hope he realises that soon and demands a transfer elsewhere
Him, Eze, Gallagher, Guehi were all very good signings annoyingly.

Olise calls it on from the throwing area, and the commentator criticises him. FFS the commentator should’ve said he wanted a Cantona moment, hasn’t he ever heard of entertainment?

BBC Radio 5 live commentator mentioned it as if it was as normal as a throw in. Why are commentators so happy to look away when Millwall are involved?
  • Was that Roy Keane chanting about Vieira ;)
  • tbf in a couple of matches this season some of our fans have thrown bottles and coins at opposition players, normally after they celebrate in front of our fans.

Very bizarre commentary, saying Olise should 'read the room'. But no comment or criticism for the fact a fan just lobbed a bottle at his head.

Just need a Palace center half to not bother jumping at a late corner?

It fits into their middle class fetishisation that Millwall are a rough and ready salt of the earth diamond geezer edgy club in a sea of bland sanitised football.

They "proper working class club" myth is a fallacy n'all as many of the flat cap donners work in offices and live in bexleyheath.

Clubs like Barnsley and Sunderland are proper working class clubs.

It's all very cringey but what you'd expect from Guardian journos and clyde tyldesley.

Could see Millwall getting an equaliser - think Palace will sit deeper

Does the Millwank keeper realise his team is losing? Barely touched by Gallagher

    Eltham is nowhere near palace

of course Bromley is palace and suffers from that identity crisis
Tyldesley just doesn’t stop talking bollcks. Millwall, a family club ffs
They are a family club……....a dysfunctional one though.
  • Ohh did he get a hand on that??!! no he didn't you bloody moron.
  • WTF Tyldsley (sp.) Was that hand ball? no, it was clearly a header, why then try and cover your arse by saying it hit his shoulder??
