The image appears far to clean to be night time footage. Looks like shot in the day time and image dimmed / colour removed. Also the woman is casting a shadow but I can't detect any light source.

I need to get out more.....
  • If they got spotted no doubt they would have been lifted before getting out - unless Arsene was on the CCTV that night and claimed he "didn't see it". Maybe he's secretly been looking for a new career. Must have gone for the one up front and tight at the back line up.

Moonlight? ;) Shadows could also come from IR which would be required to illuminate the area for the CCTV I guess? (However, I sincerely doubt the pitch would be that well lit from the IR on a CCTV camera!)

Not quite sure why I'm arguing though as I'm pretty sure you're right regarding it being staged!

But if it is staged, why do the club need to investigate it?

I need to get out more too, can I come? London Bridge platform 5 is my favourite hang out. See you there.

  • Surely they should have done it near the goal line. Not only would he have truly scored but if there was any doubt we could have called on the second official using goal line technology.

Apparently there was a bit where he was caught offside but it was to explicit to show.

She was on top in the first half, but he came from behind in the second half.
  • That's one night of business the Premier Inn in Swanley has lost.

What makes me think it's fake is that a) that they got in to the stadium at all (unless it was during a function or something) b) there was HD infra red CCTV on at the time c) someone was sitting watching the CCTV looking closely enough to zoom in on them, and not do anything about it d) the sounds are clearly fake e) most importantly, someone has pixelated the best bits. Why would anyone do that?

I dare say there's multiple ways in to the stadium; I can think of a potential one off the top of my head.. ;)
Is that the one where someone stands on the top of your head to climb over the gate?
  • In to the valley...

I've heard a rumour it's a scene from an upcoming episode of Silent Witness.

  • Genius bit of viral marketing... even getting the BBC to advertise pitch hire at Charlton ha ha.
  • The club have been very quick off the mark to turn this into a good advertising potential rather than negative story! Great sense of humour!!
