Glad GL is playing him there Vetokele 8 never stops, gearing up to be a great partnership Watt 9 what a player. really really rate him. was everywhere, even came back to win the ball in defence. I think he is someone who will only thrive in certain environments and I am overjoyed that CAFC appears to be on. Wilson 7.5 big improvement.
Henderson 7 pretty quiet, crap kicks a couple of times, amazing save late on Solly 7 rubbish first 20 minutes, better afterwards Fox 6.5 shaky, poor touch at times and a bit indecisive, but pushed forwards a couple of times and grew into it Johnson 7.5 very clever defending, always looks calm and assured, helps out the teens around him Gomez 7 had a couple of heart attack moments and was booked, but imagine how good he'll be in 5 years time Gudmundsson 7.5 great free kick, shame he picked up a knock but hopefully he'll be rested for the Tuesday game. Buyens 8 swept up brilliantly at times, keeps us ticking over and wasn't afraid to get forward with a couple of ferocious shots. Cousins 7.5 better from him, hardly lost the ball and was full of energy, booked. Bulot 6.5 quieter from him today, had a good couple of flicks and tricks and put in some decent balls. Vetokele 7.5 flits between wandering around looking lost, and running like a maniac, needs to find the balance, great link up play with Watt. Watt 9 MOM 2 great goals, dangerous runs, good bit of defensive work by the big screen too, Watt a player we may have on our hands Wilson 6 ponderous in the challenge, needed Watt to help him out due to his poor closing down, but pushed forwards a bit more than usual

Bulot 7 - Could of been utilised more, made space on the left. Vetokele 7 - Linking very well with Watt. Watt 9 MOM - Only criticism is that he could of had 3 if he'd pulled trigger in 1st half. Wilson 6.5 - Good to see Luzon giving him a chance after Peters treatment.
Henderson 7.5 - Looked a bit shaky first half but commanded his area well. Came into his own in the second half and made one brilliant game changing save that dropped Huddersfield's heads
Solly 7 - They couldn't get past the little lad. JBG was quiet and as a result so was Chris going forward but Wilson brought him into the game more second half
Fox 6.5 - We're maybe a little lucky Hudds didn't supply Scannell but he played some smart passes inside. He also kicked the ball into his own face though so we're not quite there
Johnson 6.5 - Badly mistimed some headers in the first half but threw his body on the line during their brief spell of pressure
Gomez 8 - Wow. Completely dominated Ishmael Miller who decided he fancied his chances better against Johnson second half. For a 17 year old to dominate the biggest player on the pitch, while turning attackers under pressure and calmly passing out of defence, that's something special.
Gudmundsson 6 - Barely in the game and went off early. He scored his free kick, though from the North Stand it looked like it was fairly central so I'm surprised it went in. Quiet.
Buyens 6.5 - Didn't give the ball away much but didn't play any killer passes. Was generally calm on the ball and seemed happy to take up some more attacking play when Diarra came on
Cousins 7 - Full of energy and harried their players well. Was always ready to break out on the counter which is really important to our current style. Won big headers and tackled hard. A leader's performance today
Bulot 7 - Tricky and fast on the counter. Linked up well with the strikers, gave Fox support defensively and as an outlet for a pass and worried their defence. Loves a step-over
Vetokele 7.5 - Tried and tried. His first half finishing was poor but you could see his work rate ramp up with every minute he hadn't scored in the second half. Needs to get a bit closer to Watt as Tony's always looking to play him in at the end of a run. Hudds couldn't handle his pace and determination
Watt 9 - Every time he got the ball he strode inside the defender and bombed on for goal. Plays like Fuller but with the willingness to pass the ball at the end of the move. If his first goal was a little sloppy his second was inspired. The best part of his performance was that his second goal came as a result of him closing down a Hudds attacker by our own corner flag. Fantastic effort.
Wilson 6.5 - Gave Solly cover when Scannell switched wings and was willing to find crosses and make runs. Was very unlucky not to score
Diarra - Was confident and brave and gave our entire team a feeling of freedom as long as he was patrolling. Probably shouldn't shoot. Eagles - Always offering an option, running at goal, moving into space, laying off passes. Lovely cameo. That cheeky chip towards the end deserved a goal
