The course was good - soft in places so it might take a little bit of the quickness out the good but unless it rains further I can't see it making too much difference to be truthful
Don't disagree smiffy but marginal changes that 5mm+ of rain make can have a major impact on horses staying on up the hill at the end of 27f.
Had an interesting little day yesterday with a Lucky 63 e/w (Three wins, Three places) after Annie Power nearly put me into a coma on Day 1.

I'm with you Lincs. No give in the ground no interest but the forecast rain should be a big help to Houblon Des Obeaux, who did it for me as runner up with top-weight in the Hennessy (3.25L behind Many Clouds giving him 6lbs) on soft. 66/1 from Ladbrokes (4 places) is unbelievable each way value IMHO. Have to have some of that. Also, for the same reasons, an e/w interest in Sam Winner. Gold Cup often throws up a long price placed horse....and very occasionally a Nortons Coin.

I'm hoping for a many Clouds win, but a Houblon win would be good .. a nice price, a smaller stable and a terrific up and coming - he might even have arrived - rider in Aidan Coleman .. Surprised that people fancy Houblon Des Obeaux but not mentioned Coneygree, who beat it easily at Newbury last time out and likes cut in the ground.
The e/w value at 50s+ is the draw for me. May well get beat by him again today but there's the extra 2.5 furlongs + hill. Coneygree would be first novice to win GC since Captain Cristy 41 years ago. Could do it though.

How do you do e/w Acca or super hienz? Every time I do an e/w Acca with bet 365, it either thinks they are singles or e/w and to win.
I done it on Stan James, on the multiple bets it comes up e/w and i done 0.05 which worked out £12. Just looked at Bet 365 and it's a similar layout, i went through Oddschecker quick bet, i don't know if that makes a difference.
