I like the designs but It'll be hot in that armour in August and it'll probably be rusty by December ...

Is Gavin going to be invited back to be the Robin, that's the burning question...
  • I like both of them. I'm sure there were many other excellent entries as well.

Proves we have a lot of younger fans are talented, hard working and give a toss about what goes on at our club.

That Knight is in last years kit, where's his white shorts?
    This one would be better
Edit, for the benefit of The Red Robin I forgot the smiley face

If we are to have a knight, I'd like him to look a bit like this

    Like it SAM.

We have just found our number 9,
Should be able to shield the Ball,
    Defenders will bounce off him,
    Has plenty of horse Power,
    The question is ?
Will the club shop stock all sizes ? cost ?
A pony would be about right.
King Arthur Horse Field could make a comeback.
    NAY.

Weird that grown adults are getting angry about mascots.

I know. Some people complaining about no signings as if the club as stopped all signings while they sort the mascots out.

The two aren't connected, life and other things go on whether we sign someone or not.

and there just kids mascots, designed by kids for kids.

PS Floyd and Harvey are retiring to the Musuem

PPS still think we should have had Addickter the Fishmonger : - ) #Addickisourrealnickname

I agree, I am going to abstain from eating canned food and Robins now.

Not sure I really get the need for the change, and we aren't any longer the Robins or the Valliants. So unless its a bloody great Addock i was pretty happy with Floyd and Harvey (as much as you can be about macots), altho a bit like Ant and Dec I was never quite sure which was which..

Anything other than a manky old dog and dirty pussy (ooo-errr) is great. I think they are brilliant drawings for kids.

Get pelters for calling womens football crap but digging out kids mascots is happy days. Good old Charlton.

The one thing that I notice on the drawings is. Robin = drawn by a 9yr old - Knight = drawn by a 30+yr old.

I think its safe to say that the guy who drew the knight is a Virgin!

Wow, getting a bit creepy now. As VG said is was a girl named Alice Swanton.

Not sure I'd be too happy being a dad reading that about my daughter.

Getting a bit creepy? I have obviously only looked at the pictures and not read the article. I also draw your attention to the mention of 30yr old.

    It was a gag.

    Apologies for any offence caused.

WTF are you being serious? It was a gag without reading the article. The knight looks like it has been drawn by an adult. I was going along the lines of a train spotter.

As I said I had not read the article. And I think its a liberty to try and suggest otherwise

I wouldn't be happy suggesting my school age daughter was a 30 year old man.

Interesting that YOU focused on the Virgin bit. Maybe it's you whose the perv?

Thanks for adding the apologies after I'd commented. All you needed to do.
  • Will we be selling the costumes in the club shop so the fans can dress up as well?

Lets hope the kid who drew them doesn't read this board. Nothing like cutting a youngster some slack.......

To be honest whoever drew that knight is a bloody genius when it comes to drawing... I couldnt even draw that in stickman form
it was a girl , not that makes any difference
