Looks as if the robin has been touched up by the knight. Awful.

We've gone from a manically depressed looking cat, to a disturbed robin

The robin looks like he's just walked in on mummy and daddy robin whilst a cat is about to pounce.

Robins don't have crests, so there's certainly been a bit of cross-breeding. A great crested grebe, or heaven forbid, a newt.....?

The Robin is amazing. You know it will eclipse the Gunnersaurus for 'most inappropriate mascot during a one minute silence'

That bird may have a robin body, but it's got a bloody chicken's head!
  • So of you should have this as profile pics. Bunch of miserable swines.

I sit in family stand right at front where he mascots were standing and the little kids loved em and chatting to woman from club the shield may well be sold in club shop soon.

I am delighted with the Knight, as im currently in an ongoing battle over what club my young nephews end up supporting Charlton or Gillingham, this could give me the edge as they are really into Knights and the like.

The only question is do i resort to a new bedtime story about the Valiant Red Knight who has to slay the evil child eating White Horse?

I probably should resist that urge, don't want to scare them but on the other hand this is a noble cause, they don't deserve to have to be Gillingham fans. ;-)
  • Name and shame, who is inside the Robin mascot? I imagine they must look as gormless and lifeless as the fricking bird does...

The kids seem to like the mascots but they are a bit cartoon. Maybe we can borrow one of the old donkeys from the donkey rides up at blackheath for the knight to sit on.

Having said that I haven't seen them for a year or two.

Surely this is the only thing that matters?
  • As I entered the ground on Saturday as the second half started the new mascots had clearly seen enough and were leaving and greeted and shook hands with my son and all i was thinking was get out the way we want to watch the match #miserableoldgit

Bit bored of these two now. Ideas for new mascots?

I'd go with Greenwich (a tree) and Woolwich (a sheep).
  • A taxi driving pig (in tribute to card) and some kind of mythical character, like a decent second striker that legend has it some football teams used to have so they could bring on when their team was struggling to score goals.
