    Further rumours today on the BBC website about Charlie Austin being linked again with West Ham (following Valencia's injury) and Leroy Fer with Sunderland. It wouldn't be unhelpful for those two (and Mat Phillips, for that matter) to move on this week.

    I really don't want Patrick Bauer 1st League match to be Marking Charlie Austin.
    The usual suspects will then say Patrick is shite.
    The fact that Austin scored against us when he has played for Swindon ,Burnley and QPR and none of our CB's, Morrison, Devite ETC have been able to shackled him is a worry.

    Reported in Sun today that Nile Ranger reported back to Blackpool after a 6 month absence and was shown the door.

    If they had to show him the door then that may explain why they hadn't seen him for six months. The poor lamb was probably walking into a wall outside trying to get in all that time.

    Crawley Town have rejected a bid from Notts County for striker Izale McLeod, according to the Nottingham Post.

    The rejected bid for the 30-year-old is believed to worth £100,000, with Crawley choosing to hold on to one of their key attacking options.

    Arsenal’s Chuba Akpom and Brentford’s Moses Odubajo will both have medicals at Hull City today, according to Sky Sources.

    Both players travelled to East Yorkshire on Sunday night ahead of completing their moves on Monday.

    Odubajo will move after the Tigers triggered the 22-year-old’s release clause – believed to be £3.5 million
