    Brentford midfielder Jonathan Douglas is set to sign for Championship rivals Ipswich.

    Another signing for Ipswich and it's midfielder Giles Coke, who has joined on a two-year deal with the option of a further 12 months.

    The 29-year-old midfielder was released by Sheffield Wednesday at the end of last season

    TOURE JOINS TRACTOR BOYS

    Ipswich Town have signed Larsen Toure on a free transfer after he left French club Arles-Avignon.

    The 31-year-old forward has earned a one-year deal with the option of a further 12 months after playing for Ipswich in pre-season.

    Strange one for Ipswich. Giles Coke did nothing for Wednesday. Then again you're hardly playing total football down at Hillsbrough.

    Is the Pardew effect taking place again but on a bigger scale? Apparantly £7m up front could rise to £9m. They're really pushing the boat out now having spent £12.8m on Cabaye not to mention new contracts being signed by the likes of Dann on £65k a week?!

    Aparantly Cabaye could miss Palace's first game of the season too.

    Coke is a very talented but very ill disciplined player .. Mick McCarthy will sort him out .. Douglas is another very shrewd signing for the Trackter Bhoys

    It was accepted. His agent told him that West Ham were interested (they weren't). He was close to signing for us.

    Perhaps, although it sounds like their bid for Rhodes was heavily reliant on Premier League add-ons.

    That seems quite low for a current England U21 international ?
    If Gradel is worth 7 million.
