The new Man City third kit is terrible.........

The new Arsenal third kit however is a thing of beauty. Would love something like this as our away kit.

Terrible is flattering it, that’s one of the worst I’ve seen in a long while.Chris_from_Sidcup said:The new Man City third kit is terrible.........

You could say it's taken inspiration from their 2001/02 away kit. But aside from the colours...

Would love to know what nonsense "inspiration" they're going to claim for that City kit.1

Dislike it personally. I think if you’re going to do a centralised design you can’t be having the kit designers badge there too, it looks far too busy. Plus it’s bigger than the club badge which I hate. Nike FC looks like.MrOneLung said:dunno if I like or dislike this Spurs one
Also looks too much like a fake market stall England shirt job.2 -
That Margate kit is an assault on the eyes. Terrible1

Designer One: You know I really cant think of a design for the Man City 3rd kitChris_from_Sidcup said:The new Man City third kit is terrible.........
Designer Two: That's nice... Look at the window... It appears to be raining
Designer One: Bob... You're a genius!!!2 -

but one thing Arsenal do well with their kits (that I would love Charlton to embrace) is styling their kits in such away that appeal to their global fanbase. Was at the Unity Cup the other week and the amount of Arsenal branded football shirts in the different countries colours made it feel like it was a tournament at the Emirates not the Gtek.
I would really love our club to do something like this.0 -
Don’t mind that city kit, think it’ll look a lot better when they’re wearing it.
Spurs kit is practically the same every season.1 -
I think Spurs consistently have the blandest kits.1
-
Dunno. I had these as a kid, and think they’re great kits. Last decade or so Spurs have gone off the boil though, true.EugenesAxe said:I think Spurs consistently have the blandest kits.

That last one could be a Millwall kit 😉3

Ha. Probably why I loved it! I used to collect kits, still got a load in the attic. My favourite is this one, which thanks to the 90s fashion of buying things baggy, still actually fits! Bought on holiday in Italy.EugenesAxe said:That last one could be a Millwall kit 😉

All of their nike kits have been bland. I think they had Under Armour, they were better.Woodwork said:

Some of the older umbro kits are still classics tho.1 -

Lincoln City's new kit honours a Victorian mathematician whose work is in every computer and smartphone.George Boole, who was born in the city in 1815, invented Boolean logic - a system that is regarded as the foundation for computer programming. In a tribute to the pioneering mathematician, binary code spelling out We Are Imps will feature on the football club's shirt for the upcoming season:

Would say that "Easy heat pumps" sounds like something we all get the day after a big session.3 -
That Spurs home shirt is a classic, i remember really liking this away one they had around the same time.Woodwork said:

And still to this day if you're thinking of classic football shirt sponsors i'll always maintain Holsten has to be on the list.

I hate the concept of 3rd kits. A club has a colour. They should play in that colour unless there is a clash. If there is a clash they play in their change kit.Chris_from_Sidcup said:The new Man City third kit is terrible.........
Why do Man City need a 3rd kit?
The only clash they will have is with teams that play in blue or blue and white stripes. In the past many of their away kits have been red and black. Keep that tradition in place and there are no possible clashes. Instead, we have to look at bollocks like this.1 -
