  • Aah, a pre-match preview. Thank goodness the wait is nearly over.
We will take the lead through Igor then concede fairly late on for a satisfactory if slightly frustrating draw.
  • 1-1 (Gary Poole thunderbolt!)

Is Igor back? Be great if he is.
  • Good preview. Back to the footie which is a relief. Can't call this as we don't know what we/they will be like but I'm looking forward to it with a certain amount of hope.
  • Win lose or draw it's good to be back, having said that I'll go for a 1-0 at the bookies.
  • Reckon we'll have someone sent off, and they will coast to a 2-0 win.
  • A hard fought point to kick off the 2015/16 campaign
  • Have absolutely no idea.

Pre season friendlies are generally no guide, QPR are in a state of flux, a situation we seem to be in on an almost constant bases.

Was on holiday during the most prolific period of transfer activity, and will miss Saturday, wedding anniversary means I am serving a one match ban. All this means I start the season feeling slightly detached from the goings on in SE7.

Ironically I have my season ticket, just as well as my mate doesn't, so at least he will get in.

Here's hoping for a good win, but expect a draw or defeat. I fear for our early season form, difficult start.

  • 3-3 with great goals, bad mistakes and Both side struggling over the 90 minutes for fitness. A classic game emulating the Rodney Marsh halcyon days in the age of The big match and Brian Moore.
A rollercoaster Ride from 3 to 5 on Saturday. Be there or follow on CL or any other good media outlet.

Have QPR sorted out their FFP fine then???

My first league game sitting in Lower West...3-1 to Charlton and I'll be asked to relocate for waking up the residents!

We'll welcome you with open arms @TelMc32

What pattern tartan blanket do you prefer, bovril or hot chocolate, thermos or train timetable. Just you let me know which you prefer of each and we'll sort it
@cabbles not sure what to say mate. Have been trying to ignore the fact that I am getting older, but walked into work last week to find ballons and stars all over my desk to "celebrate" 30 years in work. Blew my attempts to convince everyone I was only 39!!!

And now this!!! I may as well look up Saga now as well!! :disappointed:

P.S. A nice hot chocolate would be great though...stronger than the Fosters anyway!!
  • Kick off delayed till 3:15 due to crowd congestion outside. 1-1 draw with Charlton down to ten men after 30 mins
  • Bauer to score anytime worth a punt in a sneaky win
  • SSN reported that Fer is off on loan somewhere so he won't be playing us.

Austin though...bloke loves scoring against us. Class player

Either a 2-0 win with everyone getting way over excited.

    Or

2-0 defeat with wrist slitting to the early hours of sunday morning.

With all the unbelievabley premature 'I told you so's' to boot.

Either way I will be drunk.
  • Gonna be a toughie if Austin plays but I fancy us in a tight match either 1-0 or 2-1
  • Just hoping our unbeaten run stretches to one game
  • Refusing to make any kind of prediction until my season ticket arrives

  • This could be the year for JBG to score shit goals. Who cares, when he scores with a wicked deflection from a long-ranger with his right boot?
    89th minute goal / 1-0 home win…
  • Preview Update:

Breaking news provided by Jim White confirms that the Referee for the match between Charlton and Queens Park Rangers will be: Robert Madley from West Yorkshire

Spending the majority of his time between Premier League and Championship fixtures last season... Madley took charge of 30 matches which included a win for Queens Park Rangers against Sunderland at the end of August last year (a 1-0 victory) whilst this'll be his first time officiating in a match involving Charlton.

A total of 94-Yellows and 5-Reds were issued by this particular referee last season
  • JBG penalty, Austin equaliser, Watt with 89th minute winner

    2-1 Addicks
  • I wonder if the QPR owner regrets taking them on? Would he have fared better with us?
  • Sexual monster 4 vs qpr 0
  • 3-1 Charlton.

Cousins, JBG free kick and Watt to secure the points.
  • QPR have signed Paul Konchesky just in time...

Johann will have him on toast
  • Feeling positive for some reason. 2-0 win
  • Will we have clean seats to sit on this season? I don't recall any requests to help clean them this summer.
