Pope - 7.5: very sound and commanded his area well. Should improve his level of confidence.
Solly - 7: a good battle with Mackie.
Bauer - 8: an excellent debut, looks a real player.
Diarra - 7.5: very strong. Played the ball out well from the back.
Fox - 7: very solid and an excellent strike.
Gudmundsson - 7: showed his usual level of quality and got whacked a few times for his trouble.
Ba - 6.5: a weak start to the game but grew into it.
Kashi - 8: a high energy performance. Can win the ball and keeps it moving very well.
Cousins - 7: committed as ever and did his usual good job for the team.
Ahearne-Grant - 6: suffered with a lack of service, given that QPR dominated possession in the first half hour.
Makienok - 7: a very good second half. A good touch and awareness and he will be an asset when defending set plays.
Watt - 9: MOM - changed the game and had too much for the QPR defence. They simply didn't know how to handle him.0 -
Pope - 7 nervy in the opening stages but really grew into the game, couple of good saves, and confident command of the box
Solly - 7 solid as usual
Bauer - 8 very impressive, as he has been in pre-season, looks a good signing
Diarra - 7 still not really sure centre-back is his position, but he had a good game
Fox - 7 unconvincing start, but got better as the game went on, the excellent goal takes him up to 7
Gudmundsson - 8 great player - at times when we under the pressure in the first half looked our only player capable of creating anything
Ba - 6 looked pretty dodgy in the first half, but improved as the game went on with a couple of moments of real quality
Kashi - 8 excellent performance - great running - highlight for me was when he made a tackle on our touchline to break up a counter-attack after a corner he'd taken himself at the other end
Cousins - 7 see solly above
Ahearne-Grant - 5 i like him and he showed a couple of decent touches but was pretty anonymous - poor service perhaps, but at 17 i'm not sure he's quite ready for championship football
Makienok - 7 didn't see much of him in the first half, but showed an excellent understanding with TWWW in the second, great dummy for the goal
Watt - 9 absolute handful, changed the game, i love this guy, that performance for 90 minutes could have been a 10
Bergdich N/a - looked like a good player when he came on

Fox - 8.5 Much underrated performance especially in the first half where we were badly loped sided as a team which left Fox almost on his own yet he coped admirably in defence and still was the main outlet for the midfielders going forward.

Pope - 8 - didn't have much to do to be honest, but looked confident when he did, made one very good save, kicking improved second half.
Solly - 8.5 - Sollyesque, thats all, back to his best.
Bauer - 8.5 - Very Impressed, over committed himself a couple of times in the first half, but had Diarra to mop up, exciting ball playing defender and unlucky not to score.
Diarra - 9.5 - MOM great first half display, tidied up at the back, won every header and put himself about, oozed confidence which the rest of the team built on, second half bossed Austin, great partnership with Bauer.
Fox - 8.5 - Shaky first 10 mins, grew into the game, didn't commit himself forward much until the second half, and THAT goal...well pleased for the lad.
Gudmundsson - 8.5, it shows a players ability when the oppo target him and try to kick him of most of the game, so pleased he signed an extension. Unlucky not to score with that free kick, I had Watt and 3-0 scorecast, so would have brought me a tidy sum...ho hum.....
Ba - 7.5 - Caught in possession a couple of times in the first, but had a much better second half, linked up well with Kashi.
Kashi - 9 - Class, if he plays like that on his debut, then we may have some player here.
Cousins - 8 - On the left but seemed to have been told to push froward with diagonal runs in the second half, gave his all.
Ahearne-Grant - 6 - Found it tough, hopefully not dented his confidence.
Makienok - 9 - A great display, was a real pain in the arse for QPR, first 10 a little nervous, defended great at corners, caused all sorts of problems for our corners. Involved in both goals. Ran his arse off, we actually have a box to box forward.
Watt - 9 - Question mark over his discipline, but I couldn't care less, our greatest ever striker was Killer and and he didn't care much for discipline, Watt as long as you are banging them in mate you can carry on.
Berditch - 7 liked what i saw, very promising,
Ceballos Not enough time.
GL - 10, disciplined arguably our best player by not starting him, made changes at the right time, great player recruitment in the summer. Who says he's not his own man. Sweet dreams are made of this.......5 -
