Also noted that he is preparing his excuses if he doesn't get 3 to 4 players & all the injured players back. Looked like to me that he had gone from trying to convince Charlton fans to trying convince himself. He did not look sure to me. The evidence will be on the pitch not the interviews & PR off it.
I've decided that frustratingly for the producers of the fast and the furious franchise films, Chris Iwelumo is an amalgamation of Vin Diesel and the Rock. However, should one of them be unavailable for filming, Chris isn't quite one or the other, so wouldn't be an appropriate stand in
Of course the flip side of that is whether or not either the Rock or Vin Diesel could convincingly play a pundit talking about the football league

Well, if Vin Diesel just channels Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy, he'd still be better than Robbie Savage...
Fucking hell. Who is the woman they hand over to half way through the show to talk absolute waffle over the goals. It's the championship bit. She just talks absolute drivel. It's really hard to watch

Looking back over the first 6-7 pages of this thread is absolute gold.
It so often happens, someone new takes over a format promising to revolutionise things with lots of innovations, most of which are hated and don't work, and get dumped...
Colin Murray does like reading football forums, it's good to have a presenter who likes to check out what the fans really think
First time I've watched it this season and it's much worse than last year. The cutting to fans on their mobiles after games was painful to watch. Apart from the Birmingham fans, which just made me glad that I'm not from Birmingham.
Colin Murray is the polar opposite of some presenters, he maybe a plastic glory hunting Liverpool fan, but he understands your average fan.
agree with this, I used to have a bit of an irrational dislike for him and didn't even really know why. Fair play to him though, he certainly seems genuinely interested in the lower leagues.
I can usually stand neither sight nor sound of Murray C .. BUT .. in this he is doing a good job .. less talk and old b*****cks and just sensible analysis

I don't watch the Championship, I just watch the League 1 goals afterwards and apart from the strange bit where a woman (it isn't just because it is a woman) talks us through some short highlights of the first game it is a decent effort. I mean we have eyes and ears, there is a commentator why talk over it all etc, then offer a very short insight that Colin and guest could do?
Had to laugh when they had the Millwall badge on the backdrop screen, my son pointed it out to me, still needs a bot pf polishing as a programme, but it's ok for what it is.

Agreed, what is it with all these fucking so called pundits stranding in front of big TV's pushing buttons and talking bollocks. I record this one and match of the day two and fast forward all the chat.
Comments
Edit: they say we'll be on after the ad break.
He wouldn't have to if we had a proper squad.

The confusion and horror around that first episode was comedy gold. Absolute car crash television.
