I work in sports and IT. I build software to work out how good players and teams are in order to forecast football matches for Football Radar.

Found the company when reading Zonal Marking over 4 years ago. At the time I was working in the city and was desperate to get out. I wanted to work for a smaller company and build a product I'm passionate and knowledgeable (I hope!) about. Joined in May 2011 and it's changed my life - one of the best decisions I've ever made.

That sounds like almost the perfect thing I was trying to find when I asked, any idea how I would be able to find out more on the company? Not much on the website, is there other com apnoea that do the same?
Send me a message and I can answer any questions you may have.

I reckon my dream would be astro physicist (I'm not joking here). Failing that I've always been interested in the betting industry but all the jobs I look at seem to related to IT like front end developers and stuff to do with coding, way beyond me.

I think we did a dream job thread a while back if memory serves

Does that mean you'd specialise in plastic grass ?

...I'm a car salesman and I love my job.

I've been working for Mercedes-Benz for the past 10 and a half years and I'm loving it. I love dealing with people on a day to day basis and the pay is good as well.

After a few redundancies, got a great Jobs as Design Studio Manager for a company that designs/produces a famous Computer companies retail shops worldwide. Based in Kent, we have a great team of designers and a very laid back way of working and a fantastic studio. Best job I've had in this sector.

BUT, the best job I had was as a Kent Retained Firefighter for 4 1/2 years. Even though you had to be on call for 84 hours per week I loved it, I tried to get in full time, but with 3 jnrs in the house and the pony money I went back to design........

I am a motion graphics artist and video editor. Goes from being fucking awesome (seeing your work in the cinema, online etc) to fucking stressful (long late nights trying to meet a deadline and also try not to kill your colleague who you've been stuck in the same room as all week). Luckily I work at a small company where the MD isn't afraid to tell a client to fuck off if they're being unreasonable.

Unfortunately, not free, but I do get a car, that I pay toward. Otherwise the advantage in kind would kill me on the tax.

Sadly (not enough to do)! I looked this up. There was another execution after the 1976 one! It was actually September 10th, 1977.

I searched for when the pound note was abolished and the first article I came across was from Wikipedia which said 1984.

Never mind. Back to the jobs....
