Not very professional of him, but she really needs to get over herself.
She was well within her rights to say what she said if a little OTT
But to then plastered it all over facebook etc just makes her look silly and does no one any good.
He was an idiot though
Absolutely Henry. I think the message she sent him was fair enough - nothing wrong with that in my opinion.
However, to plaster it all over social media maybe wasn't as ill thought out as we may think.
Although she has made herself look rather arrogant and vain, she is a very well respected human rights lawyer. I reckon she may gain a load of work for her firm on the back of this.
Private message to her, she rebuked him privately, should have been the end of it.
But by making it public she really hasn't helped herself unless 1. She is a terrible barrister and is making trouble to cover up the fact. 2. She is seeking to become some sort of celebrity women's rights barrister.
She has probably not helped her career in this matter

Yeah sure spout your feminist-man hate all you like, fringe lady. But just watch what you say, because one day you'll need to move a washing machine.......
This is why I am so careful when it comes to workplace relationships with women. You are always one slightly silly (although not necessarily badly intended) comment away from getting into pretty big trouble.
Bought a colleague a box of chocolates yesterday, and told another today how nice she looked. So glad I read this tonight as I was planning to do a significant amount of arsecheek squeezing tomorrow

Didn't she eat the chocolates then?
Probably the reason why she's got a significant amount of arsecheek
