I don’t know whether there are hard and fast rules about this or whether this was just a bit sneaky, but I noticed a Red Bull engineer standing very wide outside his working area and making no effort to get out of the way as Hamilton ended his pit stop. Then, when watching the Perez stop shortly after, the McLaren engineer in the same position clearly made every effort to stay out of Perez’s way. In each case, the engineer was in the garage directly in front of the pitting car.
Apart from this being incredibly dangerous, is it not a bit unsportsmanlike to have your engineer stand in another driver’s eyeline like this?
Bottas with his bad start has screwed Mercedes a bit here as the Red Bull's are flying through the field
Mercedes have now screwed themselves by leaving Bottas out too long. They were already starting to lose time to Perez, so it made no sense to keep him out on the old mediums. Unlucky to have got a puncture, but a bit strategically shortsighted anyway.
I guess Bottas being out of contention makes the fastest lap point even more fun now - If Verstappen comes in on the last lap, then Mercedes might as well get Bottas to do the same
I’m looking forward to seeing him apologise unreservedly.
I’m not entirely sure it will be an unreserved apology as I think he’ll try to justify it in some wishy washy way, much as he did in the statement above. I try not to throw the c bomb around too often, but Verstappen and Horner have caused me to do so two weeks in a row now because of their appalling attitudes. Horrible people and perfect examples of bad sportsmen.

Yeah made me laugh earlier when Max bemoaned the Stewards decision to give him a penalty today... He's lucky it was just the one penalty over the last two weeks - Instead continues to think he should get away with everything
Wow - didnt realise they didnt even use the super 'Brazil special' engine in Qatar. It is coming out the wrapper in Saudi Arabia!
Yes, they seem to have that in their back pocket for the next race. If I was Horner, I wouldn't like the sound of that!
I think Lewis will win the last two races - which will be enough.
But Valteri needs to step up as well - if Lewis wins the last two but Red Bull get 2nd and 3rd in both with Valteri out of the points, Red Bull would win the constructors - and I would hate whinger spice coming out with some bollocks about 'it was always the constructors that we wanted to win - it's all about the team!'.

I think Lewis will win in SA.
My worry is I think Max will try and smash him off in Abu Dhabi. And win it like that.

Best hope Bottas comes second in SA then so Max can't take that risk!
I think Mercedes will give Bottas his best engine for the next race too. Bottas has a big part to play as a Mercedes one two and Hamilton leads the Championship. The top speeds between Hamilton and Verstappen wasn't much different yesterday so I'm guessing that was the tired engine out of the way.

This is the issue. I think Bottas has checked out and we cant rely on him.
Will be interesting to see who actually has the upper hand in the final 2 circuits too, as everyone thought Mercedes would struggle in Qatar and no-one could overtake, which wasn't true, and Saudi Arabia is endless fast corners, which depending on which track we've been to so far, sometimes suits the Red Bull more than Mercedes this season, and the final sector in Abu Dhabi is meant to be faster and more flowing than before, which makes it anyone's guess as to who will be faster there now
Lewis Hamilton avoids a grid penalty for ignoring double yellow flags in FP3 because the stewards accidentally pressed the wrong button for a brief second - Just embarassing!!

Karen Horner will be on the phone to Masi as we speak looking for another infraction to appeal.

fingers crossed that is right

Championship really isnt over now!!
Looked all rather fake and cringy when the cameras went to the fans today
Oh dear Christian summoned for a sporting code breach.

"If you're being an arsehole, I will tell you you're an arsehole".
Think that works both ways.
You're being an arsehole Karen.

Still think this is going to right to the last few laps in Abu Dhabi. I just hope it's just kept clean and we don't get any silly business from Max
Danny Ric, Carlos Sainz, Kimi and Max are spot on. Will Buxton the commentator isnt so well known but is brilliant as well.
FUCK YOU MAX
