He will have to be very careful how he talks to her on the team radio, say the wrong thing and there could be some very awkward silences :p;)

I think because he's running the 2023 car tomorrow it was always going to be released. Ferrari seem to have really upped their game on socials too.

Esteban, you've had a final warning for track limits, do we need to stop and ask for directions?

According to Sky Italy, the now famous ‘Don’ Lewis photo is the most liked photo in the history of F1 across consolidated platforms.

Tifosi queuing at the gates since 4am to get a glimpse of his handful of laps in the 2023 car today.

    Church bells ringing around Italy.

It was always going to be an iconic moment in F1 history - this is pure theatre.

That shade of yellow for the helmet, in the Scarlet Ferrari is just *chefs kiss*

Going to Florence in April and will be taking a trip to Modena and Maranello for tours of the museums, can't wait

I wonder if it's Hamilton's nod to the colour that Ferrari originally raced in.  Nice touch if that's the case.

or it could just be the colour that he used to race in?

Yeah I think it's more because he used to use a yellow helmet as a Senna Tribute (hence the blue and green flashes on his early helmets) and he eventually branched out to using white with yellow and red, then purple for some reason?

It does help that the yellow is a traditional Ferrari colour though, and the red accents on the helmet work well too
  • Good to see the rules on misconduct, and the fact that the rules on state the potential loss of Championship points, rather than a fixed amount.

We wont see the Championship being fixed in the slightest will we, if that happens, so that we at least get some manufactured showdown at Abu Dhabi

I think the purple was his Knob head phase

First press conference of the season, all the drivers should go full on Malcolm Tucker, effing and blinding at every opportunity. See if the FIA is going to fine and ban them all, resulting in the loss of an entire race.

They should all turn up to the presser with their mouths taped up and unable to answer any questions. The press/media then will only have one story to report.

hahaahah, him and Felipe Drugovich need to realise that WEC is the best move for their futures
  • Well I'm just shocked at the result of the FROC Championship... Never expected that to happen

In by mid season because Marko gets bored again??? Gives him a super licence without needing to do anything in F2

Not so sure this year, if it was still Perez and Ricciardo in there then I'd agree - Guess a lot depends on Lawson's performances, as see Tsunoda finishing the season with Racing Bulls and then moving on for Arvid to replace him there

We saw from 2024 though how little the F1 teams really care about F2 results as the sole outliner though, and they'll still need to get FIA permission to put him into F1 pre-August as he's not 18 until then (Rumour has it, they're the ones who asked for the rule change because of Lindblad, rather than Mercedes / Kimi Antonelli)

At the very least he'll be doing FP1 in Mexico and Abu Dhabi wont he!!
  • Formula 4 Middle East crash yesterday... with the driver hitting a Sausage Kerb

Apparently he's fine and was back for the next race which happened this morning.

This launch event isn't too bad so far. Wasn't expecting them to allow Jack Whitehall to roast the drivers and TPs.
  • Enjoying it so far... Can see it getting a bit draggy

Yes - bit OTT but good entertainment and good warm up for the season.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mw1r6DwYy-g
  • Shame that Williams have dropped that yellow on the livery from the end of last season, and gone back to the blue, their Livery is only really saved by the Duracell Battery Sponsor
  • Brilliant to see the FIA getting booed when they're mentioned
