Roland does not need money. With the new Premier League deal, prices for average players, particularly British ones, are going to double next season. Better to hold and sell in the summer.
Maybe Riga can sort out whatever problems Watt had with the other players. Clean slate and start again. An in-form Tony Watt would be a real asset to the club right now.
I for one would be pleased to see him back better then any strikers we have got, surely managed properly he has to be an asset to any championship side so why not us
Riga's probably better equipped to get the best out of Watt. He's been here before and will have a few of the squad who know him and remember when he kept us up so will have some respect. Unlike Bentos who would have been a laughing stock from day 1.
Maybe we can still make use of him yet? We need a decent striker thats for sure

I would be very surprised to see Watt in a Charlton shirt ever again. I don't think he is the answer to our problems and him coming back would probably make things worse within the team.
If the rumours are true that he's had punch-ups with other players, not sure why people would want him back.
We need the team to gel together to win points, Watt was dire before he left and a disruption behind closed doors (apparently).
I wouldn't want him back.
No doubt he doesn't want to be back here either. When he rocks up and isn't starting games his temperament will no doubt get the better of him yet again.
Cardiff City Football Club can confirm that it has been made subject to an FFP embargo during the January 2016 transfer window. Whilst extremely disappointed that the Football League has decided to take this action, we will remain co-operative and compliant with the League’s position in respect of Financial Fair Play.
Having fully disclosed all matters in respect of our FFP position for 2014/15 and having taken independent expert advice, it is our firmly-held view that Cardiff City Football Club has indeed complied with the FFP requirements for season 2014/15 - contrary to the League’s position. As such, further advice will be sought, prior to a decision being made internally as to whether or not an appeal will be lodged.
The embargo, now in place (albeit subject to possible appeal), will stay in effect for the remainder of the January 2016 transfer window. Cardiff City Football Club again expects to trade within the set FFP limits for 2015/16 and therefore anticipates full participation in the summer 2016 transfer window.
Cardiff hit with transfer embrago until end of window ..... Watt coming back next week to the training ground got some grovelling to do to members of the squad or he will go out on loan again
So, Roland basis his grand plan on some form of strong Financial Fair Play, which turns out, the FA hasn't got the stomach to implement properly and many of Roland's preparations fall embarrassingly flat. But, when they do, in fact, use measures against an infringing club, it turns out to prohibit Roland from offloading an unwanted starlet and raising necessary capital in a moment of crisis.
Roland Duchatelet: like King Midas, but absolutely shite.
