Hope he comes back. Once again, the issue was with Luzon/Meire, NOT with the players. Don't let that nonsense cloud your judgement of him.1

They certainly contradict what others ITK on here are saying.

Maybe, just maybe Roland has finally worked out his project is going down the toilet and needs drastic action to recover. Watt back, Lookman retained, 2 or 3 players in...
Ok, ok, I've had a beer or two, it's the weekend!6 -
Yes. If it's only Colin then we know what we think of that but if it's more than that I can only imagine the Belgians want to deflect blame from themselves.0

My understanding is that it was a problem created by Watt himself.Fanny Fanackapan said:

Riga would show he has the sort of autonomy that is needed if he brings Watt back. When he was last here, he picked the players he thought were the best. Our attack needs a player like Watt and it isn't as if his contract runs out inthe summer, so he can be sold then if need be. I need to see evidence that Riga has ben gi en the authority, and this would do it as selling him now would be bonkers.3

What the Valley needs right now more than ever is a lift. We have very few, if any, players of Watt's ability capable of providing such a lift. They are grown men, let them shake hands, move on, and concentrate on saving our season.8

With some of the shit we've signed, I wish we'd been under a transfer emerge for the last two years!17

Everything he touches turns to soldLoOkOuT said:So, Roland basis his grand plan on some form of strong Financial Fair Play, which turns out, the FA hasn't got the stomach to implement properly and many of Roland's preparations fall embarrassingly flat. But, when they do, in fact, use measures against an infringing club, it turns out to prohibit Roland from offloading an unwanted starlet and raising necessary capital in a moment of crisis.
Roland Duchatelet: like King Midas, but absolutely shite.15 -

How Riga handles this is his first test and a big one. He has to prepare the ground for a Watt return as we know some players will not be happy. If I was the manager I would speak to every first team player one to one and ask them about their commitment to avoiding relegation. If they say they are, which you would expect, you would then have to demand of them that they act as part of a team, not as an individual, and don't throw their rattle out of the pram if they don't like something, and give me and the fans 100%. If a player can't sign up to that, he is not needed in this fight, whoever he is. I would then speak to Watt and ask the same of him. These are professionals, they have to allow the manager to try to get us out of the mess and not give him any issues that makes his mission harder.5

What total rubbish ... He fell out with Luzon that's why he was dropped v QPR and has a real problem with accepting orders, was told on more then one occasion to stop posting pics of himself and fox playing golf every afternoon when his and the teams form was so bad , then the problems with a number of players led to Jackson and Euell telling KM to get ridJaShea99 said:lol at punches being thrown. What a load of rubbish. The club may want people to believe that to deflect fault from themselves but the only person he fell out with was Katrien.
In this case, I'd be asking Jacko to sort things out . We all work with tools but we have to get on with it. If a truce can be called, Watt would be an assetMuttleyCAFC said:How Riga handles this is his first test and a big one. Assuming Riga is allowed to. If RD wants to save on wages he'll loan him somewhere else. Would like to see If Riga can get the best out of him. He managed with Harriott and Sordell, so anything is possible.0
-
Really and truly, saving on wages should be the last thing on RD mind. Relegation will be a lot more costly.
If watt is up for the fight he will be an asset.4 -
So is he back with us then or playing for Cardiff today ? Loan expires after the game doesn't it?
Does anyone know if we offloaded all his salary while he was / is there or did we go Dutch ?0 -

Really excited he is coming back. If (I know it is a big IF) BUT If he fancys it he could be just what we need. He could be like a new signing especially now we have JR, let him have a try to get the best out of him, if he can we WILL stay up, his 'goals,' enthusiasm, will rub off on us and more importantly through the team!!!
WELCOME BACK TONE, NOW SHOW US WHAT YOU CAN DO!!!........again!

Maybe it's more likely that he is returning if KAG is off to Cambridge?0

Is KAG off to Cambridge? When did that happen?0

I bet Tony is devastated, he probably thought he'd got away from our circus of a football club.4
