    Lookman barely looks 12!

He looks so young, wonder who we will sell him to in the summer....

Charlton AFC in 3 years. See you on Plumstead Common or Blackheath.

It better be on the Borough of Greenwich side !

oh god. Lewisham Athletic..the new Franchise.
  • Gerken's no wally
  • Wow. That was some control and cross from Lookman. Great header from Vaz Te and exceptional save from their keeper. Lookman may be only 18, but he is class. What does it say about some of our other (mostly foreign) squad.
RD and KM have him firmly in the shop window today. Won't be with us for long - enjoy while you can.

Defence is all over the place, some will criticise Solly on this one but he has no option than to go to the play because Sarr is so far wide and Bauer has to go across, schoolboy stuff........on hang on a minute the back four is very young!

Sarr wasn't at fault for the goal. The run from the midfield that Cousins should've tracked left Solly marking two.
Did I criticise Sarr? I was merely explaining why Solly was not at fault have a reread and chill out.
Sarr?, did someone mention Bambi on ice?

It's scary how our club has become so hollow. Shiny new stadium on the outside but absolutely nothing at the centre. If we go down I reckon it could be a generation before we even think about coming back

Our club has been stripped ... When Powell was here and his successful run and team that he put together we had something... once the maniac was in charge that was all, very quickly ripped away... if we go down we wont be back for years... and by then the way the club is and the direction its going we will have lost a large number of fans...

These fuckers may finally be killing this once great club...

    Surely you mean in January.

  • on a plus note... Vaz Te does look lively... :)
  • Another excellent Gerkin save off great interplay between Vaz Te and Reza. No idea why one of them didn't start and why Mak stayed on so long

Yep sadly I agree, and the likes of Lookman. THD will be long gone

  • Holloway made a great comment at the start about how we sell our youngsters too quickly and sited Gomez. He knows his stuff to be fair
  • It's no surprise we've looked more threatening since Mak went off. Should've been removed at half time.
  • Vaz Te must start the next game, been impressive since coming on
  • We look so much better with Makinok off, I'm sorry to say it but we do. Shame the damage is already done.
  • Vas Te and Lookman need to start up front next game.
  • On another day, could have been 2-2.
  • Make it 0-4 Ipswich - these 0-3 results are starting to bore me :/
    F@8~#ing useless.
  • Mak has to be used as an impact player, he is just not consistent enough to warrant a start.
  • If we are researching other clubs before we play them then KF got it completely wrong starting Big Mak. Playing into McCarthys hands before the games even begun.
  • On another day, could have been 2-2.

Ithink you're kidding yourself. Ipswich have won at a canter.

  • RD will sell Lookman and THD for a few million and then pocket the dosh while the team fanny around in League One, what a disaster
  • A very public and very embarrassing humiliation and an exposure of the network system as a sick joke.. the odd win here or there makes no difference to that.
  • Mak has to be used as an impact player, he is just not consistent enough to warrant a start.

I don't agree there. He's an important part of the way we play, he just had a real shocker today
  • that meeting with that idiot is so depressing, like we are happy to even SEE players like Lookman before we ship them off to someone else at a profit...

    What a joke...

Curbishley had a model where our youth would be in the team for years and years...

Utterly depressing... and chipping away at my love for this club... but what can replace it.. nothing, you can't find it anywhere else, but what we have here is utterly destroyed...

It's just typical that Charlton have to be one of the clubs that experiences a nightmare takeover situation...or more accurately a ust entirely weird takeover situation...

  • Big push 8n Reza back missed there inside the box

Two outstanding saves from their keeper.
First 2 Swich goals debatable. Foul/offside.
Fine margins but yes, it could have been 2-2.
    Thanks for your comment though.

Does he have a contract beyond the summer?
  • Watt starting for Carfiff this afternoon
  • On another day, could have been 2-2.

Clutching at straws. Charlton did not look like scoring at 0-2, despite having a bit more possession and passing the ball a little better. When Makienok went off, Charlton looked a bit more like scoring. Far too little too late.
  • Peach of a cross from Solly.

    Reza wide, of course.
