Karel's Waistcoat

Looks like Karels been given the job of manager on a full time basis this week, and gone out and bought himself a flashie new suit with his pay rise, given the fact he was wearing a waistcoat in the dugout, I thought I'd gone to a wedding for a moment.....

No, that was the Director of Football Recruitment.

  • He must have been freezing. Trying to show how hard he is?

Yes, he's actually a Geordie called Carl Fry who's pretending to be Belgian to get the job.

Are you seriously saying he was wearing a waistcoat? Is this a joke?

Thanks Clem, you've just put an image in my head that I really didn't want!

Anyway, does this make Fraeye the first Charlton 'manager' to have worn a waistcoat at a match?

Curbs wore a waistcoat at the playoff final.
  • I'm told that Karel was testing a range of ultra effective thermal undies today which will be revealed in the Club Shop in the New Year.

This was in total contrast to the opposing manager, Steve Evans who was testing a new, improved gastric band.

Curbs could've worn lederhosen if he wanted. Nobody would've questioned it.

Living a Champagne lifestyle on lemonade wages.

A primark track suit with flip flops would be more honest

The SLP's Richard Cawley spotted this - maybe it was keeping him warm?

I heard that Euell went with Fraeye to buy the waistcoat. Fraeye is apparently claiming the waistcoat on expenses but gave the receipt to Euell for safe keeping. The accountant needed that receipt as RD had asked him to give a cashflow forecast urgently so that he could decide how many youngsters to sell in January.
  • I want a signed waistcoat

He came straight from the casino where he moonlights as a croupier.
  • Fraeye was spotted in ASDA (the one near the ground) on Friday.
Obviously top of the GEORGE range!

  • I preferred Parky's V-neck jumper.

If KF can get us winning games, I don't give a flying **** what he wears.

He can have a pair of y fronts on his head and knitting needles coming out of his nostrils.

    Wibble.

Fraeye is proving moderately successful (compared to recent incumbents) as the manager of CAFC much to the consternation of 'regime haters', those who despise the owner who appointed him .. SOOOO .. let's find something negative, something irrelevant, something ostensibly humorous, something 'different' to take the piss about .. I know ... Fraeye's waistcoat .. f f s .. never mind the football, let's all watch 'the dugout' for some outlandish fashion indicators, something tenuous, something else to help throw negative vibes at the people who own and run the club .. anything other than seeing positives
  • "Fraeye is proving moderately successful (compared to recent incumbents)"

what's his points per game ratio then compared to recent incumbents, without looking i reckon its the worse of the lot
and i actually am not gonna jump one way or t'other without giving him some time to decide whether he's good bad or ugly
