    Happy birthday for Monday Paul, Barry island isn't the nicest of places but it's nowhere near as bad as people have made out, the amusement park is disappointing but ok, there are a lot of nice little bnbs and cheap as well and there are some lovely places to visit in Cardiff which is more expensive to stay in so staying in Barry is probably better and catching the train or driving into Cardiff. The science museum "techniquest" is well worth a visit. Enjoy.

    The was pretty much the idea really, cardiff is half hour on train so, probably spend more time in Cardiff.

    Just seen the news and they showed Barry looking a bit blowy.
