Reiss Nelson appears to be the one setting things alight in the Bundesliga at the moment
4-goals / 4-games was last I heard the other day for Hoffenheim0 -
Sorry, not having that Sancho is any better than Lookmam.Chunes said:

Sancho has got 2 goals and 6 assists in 8 games, 6 of which were sub appearances.
So I wouldn't say Lookman did more. Also, he's 21. Sancho is 18. And honestly, Sancho is just on a different planet.0 -
Wouldn't be surprised if there was a little bit of politics behind the selection. It certainly sends a clear message to players like Foden and Lookman that you need to be playing to be selected.buckshee said:Can’t understand how Sancho got an England cap despite doing less in the Budesliga than Mola.

Opinions I guess. For me, Sancho has the potential to be one of the best wingers in the world. Lookman may be a good prem player.buckshee said:

and much like the Zaha situation we'll end up losing him as well.ForeverAddickted said:Nigeria appear to be circling for him again...

Sancho is also playing for his club, Lookman isn't enough.Chunes said:

Fair enough. Southgate has been quite open about that.SurvivaloftheFittest said:

Am I the only one that thinks Lookman isn't that special ?? decent player obviously & too good for us, but imo not a Gomez. Can't see him being a regular England international.2
-
Lookman not world class like Gomez whose talent has not yet been fully recognised by non-addicks. But Ademola has to compete with Sterling, Lalana, Lingard and an ageing Milner and few untested other youngsters like Sancho and Loftus-Cheek who also don't get games for their clubs. So not out of the question he can make an impact1

He's not as good as Gomez but should end up playing regularly in the Prem. That makes him one of our best in recent years even if he's never a regular for England.golfaddick said:Am I the only one that thinks Lookman isn't that special ?? decent player obviously & too good for us, but imo not a Gomez. Lookman is wasted wide, his talent is scoring goals in the box. Until he is played in his best position he won’t realise his full potential.2

He's not suited to being a lone striker, the way many clubs at that level play. Neither is he an out and out poacher.EveshamAddick said:Lookman is wasted wide, his talent is scoring goals in the box. Until he is played in his best position he won’t realise his full potential.

So its Tosan / Calvert-Lewin / Lookman who win Everton the game last week - Good to see all three being rewarded...

Sancho has beaten Lookman's Bundesliga goal record with only 3 starts to Lookman's 11. He's also contributed 8 assi
Sorry, correction. Sancho has scored 5 goals in 4 starts, as well as contributing 6 assists. (!!)buckshee said:

So he's basically smashed Lookman's record to pieces, and while he's still a teenager.

Why do we need to compare them, Sancho is doing very well. I agree he is different level then Looky, but Lookman given the chance should be playing in the premiership.Chunes said:Sancho has beaten Lookman's Bundesliga goal record with only 3 starts to Lookman's 11. He's also contributed 8 assi

We don't need to. Buckshee said he couldn't understand how Sancho got an England cap despite doing less in the Bundesliga than Lookman. Pointing out that's not true at all.johnnybev1987 said:

Lookman will be a class player and get a fair few England caps. Sancho will be the first name on the team sheet.7

Lookman needs to leave in January before Everton continue to mess around and stagnate his development and career.
A move where he will play regularly at a good standard, whether that’s in the Premier League or Bundesliga, is beneficial for him.
In a couple of years we could have some very exciting players for England so long as they play often. Gomez, Lookman, Sancho, Rashford, Sterling, Loftus-Cheek to name a few.2 -
Definitely. Ross Barkley has come out of Everton and said that he is "finally being coached." So what's going on at Everton?Sage said:Lookman needs to leave in January before Everton continue to mess around and stagnate his development and career.
When you realise that Duncan Ferguson is first team coach, you can imagine the style of development is not going to make the best of talented youngsters.7 -
So good being a Charlton fan the last 5 or so years:
Everton are keen on a move for Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, 20, and could allow Ademola Lookman to move the other way as part of the deal. (Sun)

Worst part is that’s the club his style most suits in the prem. Palace stick him and Zaha on each wing and find a ST and they’d have one of the best attacks in the league. Fucking depressing.Valley11 said:So good being a Charlton fan the last 5 or so years:

Reckon Palace will go for another ex Charlton player in Jan... Jordan Ibe from Bournemouth. Have seen him around Beckenham a bit of late.0

Overrating them a fair chunk there!Laddick01 said:
