I fear she would not approve it, despite that I have been on cordial nodding terms with her husband since the early 90s, and have never said a bad word about him. There was even once a suggestion that I might look after him when he visited Prague for some Charlton related reason. I am quite sure she considers me one of the 2%.
I wondered whether I might engage with her, and suggest that the very public stance she is taking is ruining the perception fans have of her husband. But I suppose it's futile.

To be fair if they are a Man Utd fan, it is logically consistent to suggest you are not a real fan unless you are spending monstrous amounts of money to support your club.

I'm not sure that it is in the best interests of anyone to go down this route. The same kind of thing is currently happening on SE7Valiants with some long term supporters being unnecessarily questioned about their Charlton credentials because they have dared to question the regime and therefore by definition cannot be genuine fans and its all got a bit fractious.

Chris Parkes lost a lot of brownie points there and the actions and comments of his wife on SE7Valiants have done him no favours whatsoever.

I've experienced most of the Prem years and remember enough of it. I've been to enough league 1 games to make anyone want to cry. And I've paid for the privilege! Yet she has the audacity to question whether I am a fan!
