It should be easier to get tickets in the east stand to carry out the protests from there; I wonder if they will put netting all along the side?

Speaking of netting does anyone know if it will still be used in lower north next season

I think they have installed a wall with peep holes.

Actually, with more fans buying tickets on a "pick and choose" basis, I can see lots of potential for concentrating protesting fans in the West Stand - just needs to be made known a few days before. Would be fun to have lots of protesters around the Directors box.

Just buy a wing block ticket to ensure giving less to the Belgians.

  • Should be fun when we play Millwall at the Valley, they'll have almost as many fans there as we will

2 or 3 on here have said closer to 5,300 - vs one ITTV poster saying slightly more

That's kind of what I meant - you can't invoke the credibility of an entire forum when it's one random bloke posting on there.

7,000 to 8,000 crowds with sub 6000 crowds for cold winter evenings. Just like watching Charlton in the 70s.

I wonder why the club do not make an official statement giving the numbers sold, I do not understand what the big secret is, perhaps telling the truth is beyond them. With all the contacts Colin has, you would have thought he would have an accurate number.

It will, and no doubt a few of the season ticket holders will be on holiday as well.

Bloody hell, Shrewsbury Town, is that a league match ?

Funny you should mention Killer, that's who came to mind when I saw the footage of that hat-trick yesterday and Ajose goal hanging to be in the right place at the right time.

Because they don't care. RD won't give a shit that 5k people not renewing is costing him say around 2.5m because he'll recoup that by just selling JBG.

It's more like £1m. The more significant loss is £4m of central revenue from dropping down a division. The problem for Duchatelet is that individual players can only be sold once and he already has to cover last season's loss, which I'd guess is £5m plus - even before his training ground adventure.

I'd have thought last seasons loss could have been more given the extra policing etc he needed to put on.

All his 'Roland won't care if 3k people don't renew stuff' etc

If that's the case how comes some of the club's departments have to do raffles for equipment like a poorly funded school's Parents Association, while we've not been able to bring in players we've needed on loan before until we've loaned a couple of U21s to non league clubs to get their minimal wages off the wage bill for a couple of months?
