Katrien Meire: The Full Statement!

Who does she mean by they btw? Does she mean me? Or you? When she says they, am I being bundled in with the racists of 15 tears ago? Does she mean Airman? Maybe she means Fanny? She should accuse the people who did illegal things - it is not illegal to protest in this country and it will never be.
BTW 15 years ago, Charlton was as non racist as you can get - learn your history - oh I forgot you're not interested in history!11 -
Everything about that woman stinks.
Poor little rich girl, if she doesn't get all the praise and attention and gets what she wants, all the time, she stamps her feet just like the spoilt brat she is.
Just go, in the name of God just go.
My 14 month old granddaughter speaks more sense than that odious apology of a woman.10 -
Unfortunately, that is part of it. Shows her immaturity.mistrollingin said:

Why bother to go to Belgium, Murray lives a lot nearerThe_President said:One thing i would like to say, is that Katrien statement proves that i was civil, pleasant and non-confrontational to her father - and not the neanderthal terrorist as it appeared that some fellow posters wanted to portray me as this time last week.
However, i accept all your apologies- and intend to carry on visiting Belgium to protest as long as it takes to get shot of both them - ok , we 'targeted' Meire last time ,but next time it might be RD himself. There will be no parents visited again, but we may well diversify our protests.
Why is this weasle getting such an easy ride?4 -
Stop looking for sympathy you disgusting. I got told off for calling you scum on here a while back but you are, you are scum of the highest level. No one wants you or your lies here. Stop ruining our club and fuckoff.3

Our strength is that we are not violent, so she cannot win.hoof_it_up_to_benty said:Imagine how she'd have coped at a club with more hostile supporters. She just gets worse....
In a more hostile environment the fans would disagree with each other and there would be divides. The media would pick up on the aggression and the CEO would win.
In our case we have strong support in huge numbers with people willing to help out in clever ways and in a civilised manner. That's why we'll win.

I get the feeling, after speaking privately with a few people tonight, that that is about to change.carly burn said:

so much for not speaking to the media...2

I would assume the companies house stunt was not legal - probably done by one person and nobody knows who. What else has been done that is illegal?0
-
Perhaps the most concerning aspect of this for me is that I assume it is a requirement of her CEO role to act in the best interests of the 'Club' at all times.
This may come down to a subjective assessment of any given situation and course of action, but when reading what was reportedly said, hopefully not misinterpreted Mandy, it does look to me like the release of pent up frustration, justifiably so to her mind. However, I think the Club's interests should come ahead of her airing her own personal grievances.
I suspect many of us here have been expecting a side swipe back at us for sometime now, but I think it was ill advised to try and demonize segments of our support in order to 'get it off her chest' as it were.
I simply can't see how, on balance, this statement has served the best interests of the Club.
Pointing out the large sum of money committed, £30m, whilst the Owner continues to pump in an additional £1m a month does not demonstrate that they Club is being well run if that was what she intended to illustrate. It is certainly not evidence of financial stability as everyone by now assumes it is ultimately repayable with interest and therefore in effect a loan to be recovered in the Sale proceeds of the Club at a later date.
On the plus side, it appears that there was no mention of the Dublin seminar debacle (finally moved on) and at least it's not snowing.

It was YOUR post, in which you portrayed yourself, in a way which led people to think you had gone OTT.The_President said:One thing i would like to say, is that Katrien statement proves that i was civil, pleasant and non-confrontational to her father - and not the neanderthal terrorist as it appeared that some fellow posters wanted to portray me as this time last week.

Only yourself to blame. If you had only told the truth......
Anyway, let's not get derailed again please everyone. This is about Meire.3 -

Sigh. It's nothing to do with that and who's done what. Stop trying to get attention.C4FC4L1f3 said:
why they had nothing to do with the two protests mentioned?Addickforlife said:Good opportunity for a statement from @CARD?
It's to do with the fact that they have come to represent the Charlton fans protesting against Roland and so they will be a credible voice to issue a well worded statement, and in turn make it more likely to get picked up by the press. Surely, if you are protesting for the same reasons this wouldn't bother you?
If you want attention, feel free to issue a statement yourself. Let's see how far that goes.
Now, back to laughing at Katrien.1 -
She won't go because Roland is close to her dad and she is like a niece to him apparently.AFKABartram said:

Just a further indication seemingly of her denial that anything is really amiss with her stewardship of the club and her belief that she can still carry on 'in adversity' as she would no doubt view it whilst oblivious to her own enormous shortcomings in the CEO role.Tunwellsaddick said:Totally unfit for purpose. Your fault Roland.
How she cannot see that she must take some great share of responsibility in the collapse of many of the areas of the Club's administration and the alienation of the majority of the fan-base is beyond me.
Simply to carry on out of some masochistic right of passage as a businesswoman who doesn't do failure is not healthy.
I agree with Tunswell - in any normal business she would not have been appointed in the first place but having done so she should have been relieved of her duties some time back by Duchatelet and reassigned somewhere else in the network.
He is not doing her any favours by pandering to her intransigence. If it was a boxing match you would have expected the manager to throw the towel in long ago. The statement by Meire some time back that each managerial appointment was right as it led to an improvement in position (and then after a pause) and results demonstrated that she had lost control of her reason and was floundering badly.
That was the time for Duchatelet to step in and send her home.
The situation now is out of hand - her position is beyond untenable and I don't even know what the term might be for that.5 -
I see that the Women In Football twitter feed has retweeted the South London Press story. Using the gender card to try and demonise all of us vile sexist racists, no doubt...
Can't they find her a nice cushy position within their organisation?

She should thank her lucky stars that RD didn't buy Millwall!

We are a bunch of highly intelligent supporters who have mobilised and went about our protests in a legal dignified way!
We have respect from the media and the football community.
We have spent thousands.. correction... tens of thousands in the right areas and 98% of the protests have been a success.
Regardless of all the shite that is spouted on here we show time and time again that the correct people are involved.
And even when there seems to be debate and divide amongst the ranks we are all still mates and have a laugh over a pint when we meet up.
If millwall were leading this protest people would be 100% behind Roland and support his destruction, justified but the hooliginism.
But I understand your point is tongue and cheek, just thought I would comment.

The problem with Murray is he is a nobody really and I don't think Roland cares what happens to him. We just have to be clear regardless what happens when Roland goes so does Murray.ValleyMick said:
