He played once in the Checkatrade Trophy ;)

Seriously though I agree it's probably to do with money, whether it's bonuses or a fee due to Standard Liege.

Surely he's on loan from us so has to return to us first? Also, thought he was in a season long loan?

Make you right there, Large. But of course RD doesn't like football rules. He will probably just buy a return Eurostar ticket in Igor's name, that never gets used.

But come to think of it, if someone can clarify the rule 100%, we could grass on the SMT for non-compliance...after all a physically and mentally fit Igor alongside Josh would be quite a partnership. Heroic assumptions there, I concede...

You can put in a January recall clause so whilst we would technically be calling him back he wouldn't have to physically come back.

I would imagine that if you loan out players that you are looking to offload you would always have a recall clause
  • I wouldn't be surprised if his contract is cancelled and then signs for STTV. We will never see a penny of any money anyway

If we get their number 8 in return that's fine by me.

One would hope HMRC/other tax authorities might want to have a say in the matter - how RD is using his tax losses is something that deserves not a little attention. Remember they got Al Capone for tax evasion.
