Millwall at The Valley next Tuesday & currently bottom of the league.....
Might make the journey for that one....0 -
George Hardy was bought by Wolves from Rotherham as a future prospect and then later released. I wonder why?
Btw how tall is he for a goalkeeper?0 -

Apparently George Hardy was in goal for Chatham Town against Slough last Saturday. Not sure if he's on loan.Starinnaddick said:

Interesting that Danny Cowley remarks on the Micah video that whilst Essex is fertile ground for finding footballers he sensibly says that South London (earlier he had narrowed it to South East London) is extremely special and he intimated that our academy is probably the best around.
He is right about our corner of the planet, and it re enforced the agenda of that really good programme about cage footballers and the estate culture South of the River (probably elsewhere too, but a super fertile ground for players).
I have always loved the ‘one of our own’ nature of our club, and regard our Academy as the jewel in our crown and something that makes Charlton Athletic stand out.
Conversely it pisses me off we’re not category one and rich clubs leech off the hard work the Charlton Athletic academy has put in.10 -
The Reuben Reid goal is here. Really good finish but shows the contrast between U21 and senior football. No one even gets close to trying to tackle or jostle him

Guven the very large numbers of young, mainly working class and black kids brought into the club at its various levels, it must also play a very big role in offering a different type of life opportunity and identification for many of them.jose said:Interesting that Danny Cowley remarks on the Micah video that whilst Essex is fertile ground for finding footballers he sensibly says that South London (earlier he had narrowed it to South East London) is extremely special and he intimated that our academy is probably the best around.

And a Championship keeper would probably have saved that.fenaddick said:The Reuben Reid goal is here. Really good finish but shows the contrast between U21 and senior football. No one even gets close to trying to tackle or jostle him

The line up suggests to me that there will be a behind closed doors ‘senior’ game coming up soon where Mwamba, Edward’s and seniors not away will play.
Pure speculation from me.
Tas straight in is interesting.1 -
Looking forward to seeing Enslin come on and McMillan to maintain his current good form.1

Great to see Enslin back2

Interesting to see Peterkin, any time I’ve seen cameos or u18 streams he’s barely touched the ball.0
