Barker is nowhere near ready, and people have been calling for him to be in and around the team even now. We have to remember we used him at the start of the season out of pure desperation because we couldn't sign anyone else and couldn't register anyone older.

Possible. Crap viewing spot and it was the other end of the pitch

entertaining game but we shouldn’t have lost
It's the Charlton way.
A bit like the 1st team game against Gillingham, then?

Interesting as the official write up says Barker have it away. Either way my comment on him not being ready isn't merely based on that one foul that he may or may not have committed
Good that Famewo got another 60 minutes in his legs.
Jason Euell deserves an opportunity to get a chance in the League. Wimbledon would be a good chance at a club he knows well.
Nathan Jones had a talented young team, that helped his success in getting a League job as a manager. Pope, Poyet, Smith, Pigott, Lennon, Ajayi, Fox, Sho-Silva, Holmes-Dennis and a very young Gomez occasionally played above his age group.
Ps. Just remembered two other lads who played around that time. One small midfielders, one who was 5ft 3in and went to Cheltenham and the guy who was captain when we beat Tonbridge Angels in the Kent cup. He went to Maidstone initially but drifted out of football. Also an Irish CB who gave up football to play hurling back in Ireland.

It was Barker. I was down the other end trying to take photos on my phone, so had an even worse view than @Swisdom who got it right!

So ...... that's twice within a week we've lost 4-3.
We might have scored 6 goals goals in just 2 games, but to concede 8 in those 2 games? We need a scapegoat. No co-incidence that Famewo has played both games, so it must be his fault.
I'm going to start a new thread. Can't quite decide whether it's going to be called, "Fame to blame" ...... or just, "Has Euell lost it?"

I agree. He's still young and that needs to be remembered. When he played earlier in the season he was probably carried a bit with the euphoria. He's certainly got the tools but has a tendency to dive in to tackles still as evidenced today.
We were 2-1 up with Fanewo on the pitch and he looked classy and authoritative. Mpt saying it was Barker's fault but there was a noticeable difference.
Comments
barker made a great block but followed with a lunge and pennies given and put away
Come on boys, get the win.
2-3
Still time...
I think this one might be tight for us to pull back lads.
Iraqi chap has a hattrick right?
