Trialist is apparently Chris Lock’s son Paris, who is at AFC Wimbledon.
He’s 20 and a winger/striker according to FM.
SLP mentioned Paris in this article about Chris, he was on loan at Braintree earlier this season, so unlikely to be someone to be pushing for the first team.
I was at the game this afternoon, a very good first half by Charlton, did not give QPR anytime on the ball & created plenty of chances, Dixons' goals were set up for him but you've still got to be there to score them. Enslin was very impressive in the first half, set up one goal for Dixon & scored 3 very good goals. The 2nd half was completely different with QPR starting very strong & dominating the game but after 3 quick goals the game evened out with plenty of substitutions for both sides, Lock's goal was a shot right in the bottom corner of the goal with about four minutes remaining of the game.
I'm now off to 'The Valley' & hope to see plenty more goals for the home side.
Theoretically it is the Charlton first team verses the Leyton Orient first team. The fact that we have an U21 game the same day would provide a reason to still keep players such as Dixon and Enslin out of the ‘first team’ this evening to play this afternoon against Bournemouth, and players such as Potts and Edun play against Leyton Orient.

Down to the coaches to decide if their development is best served by playing all/most of a game or by sitting on the bench for all/ most of a game. I think I can guess which way they will swing, but I do think that their inclusion in the match squad and taking some part in the game would give fans a glimpse of a future and give us a huge lift as we go into the Xmas fixtures.
I'd expect a young U21s side probably with Sol-Loza leading the line instead of Dixon. Would make more sense to have Dixon and Enslin with the first team

Hoping to see Enslin and Dixon at the Valley tonight as one of the pleasures of these games is seeing how the youngsters cope in the first team.
But there are pros and cons of playing them, not least Jones' desire to win the game which I suspect will mean a strong team.
It could be argued that the team would be stronger with both at least on the bench but that is a difficult call.

We won’t know for certain until we give them a go, and this is the ideal game to try them in.
Given our league form though I think that’ll only make Jones even more determined to take it seriously and win.
They both have pace and energy, and given the style Jones is aiming for it makes sense to have more players who offer that.
I remember Doughty coming back from his loan in non-league and Bowyer commenting along the lines of being surprised how well he did in the first team. More pace in the team could make a difference, even if it comes with a lack of experience.
There are good reasons as to why Charlton fans might be interested in this game. The possibility of a stream, and team news with an eye on the fixture tonight. The communications ‘team’ at Charlton Athletic don’t seem inclined to give us the scantest bit of information so far.
Here’s how our U21s line-up in this afternoon’s PDL2 fixture against AFC Bournemouth: Reid; Hobden, Toure, Hunter, Bower; Mwamba, Enslin, Fullah; Rylah, Sol-Loza, Trialist
Looks like there is now more reason to be interested about this evening. Dixon not playing this afternoon. My hope is that our fans don’t expect too much or rush to judgement.

No news on subs but I'm making up the story that Jones ordered Enslin and Dixon subbed off at HT so they could go on the bench tonight.
Imagine there were some subs and that unsettled the team a little but we still won.
As Steve Brown says, far too many goals conceded by U21 sides at all clubs.
A valiant fightback after a tough first half but we fall to defeat in a 9 goal thriller. Played lads - we go again next week!
6-3 FT

Reid playing so maybe no sub keeper again tonight v Orient.
Trialist is Paris Lock again, I assume.
Very young side
