  • Hurrah !

    Thanks, clive.

We'll be there- cosy in our pjs, bedsocks & dressing gowns, pot of steaming hot tea, tin of biscuits and cheering on our lads. :)
  • Here’s how our U21s line-up for tonight's Premier League Cup fixture against Birmingham City at Princes Park: Reid; Asiimwe, Toure, Laqeretabua, Bower; Kedwell (c), Mwamba, Fullah: Rylah, Hobden, Enslin Subs: Woodham, Wales, Dixon, Hunter, Reid

  • That reads like Hobden is up front which can’t be right, he’s usually played RWB/RB/CB.

Doubt it, the GK signed from Brighton a few months ago.
  • Looks like Hobden is up front, strange one. Guess they’re limited for choice with Casey and Mbick out.
  • Assume Birmingham’s Kamara is Sahid who who joined them after leaving us.
  • 1-0 Birmingham, good low shot from outside the box.

  • 1-0 Birmingham.
  • 2-0. To Birmingham.
  • Half time 2-0 to Birmingham, they have been the better team and have dominated, especially threatening going forward. Second goal following a non cleared corner on the stroke of half time.
  • Yes Birmingham have looked good.
  • Does anyone actually know what’s happened to Casey and Mbick ?
The whole don’t tell him Pike stuff about injuries is just ridiculous
  • 1-2 Enslin wonder goal from the half way line.

Miles more enjoyable than watching the first team….
  • That was great, first time I've had the opportunity to watch the U21s. Why aren't the first team games that entertaining!
  • Full time 2-2.
All pretty nice, and interesting to see less familiar guys like Wales.

Very enjoyable watch, entertaining and fast moving. Hard to totally understand the seemingly huge difference between the talent on display this evening and our supposed first team last Saturday. Are they literally having it coached out of them as they reach the higher level?
  • Well they played so much better in the 2nd half. Some real class at times from us. So 2-2 a fair result. Outstanding player for us I would say was Enslin. Rylah had a good game as well. Dixon was better in the second half. Mullah a hard working player, he will not score many better goals than that one tonight
