FFS. Likely to be called off due to international call-ups. Magennis, Botaka and Lookman.

That was money well spent on the train ticket then.

Which is why I have not booked anything yet

I've always found it really weird that a country can start with a medical profession

Roger Johnson should have been born there.

    Totally irrelevant...

It is not being televised, it's early kick off because of the teams involved.

Even if it was down to be televised, if a certain number (of either side) players are called up for international duty, the game can be postponed.

Agreed although police won't be happy with it being a 7:45 kick off, could potentially be played on 2nd round of fa cup saturday if both teams go out.

Over to Millwall then, got a feeling we'll be out in the 1st round this year to someone even worse than Northwich Victoria of course away and on TV.

Yes because DR Congo have qualified for countless World Cups so should tell you all you need to know about the "quality" of the said nation

The way Scunny are playing, it might be good to play them later when we have our new CM and played together a few more times

Anyone with access to SE7 Valiants, Sue Parkes has more information on this from within.

I'd imagine since we are only league one we'll have no say in moving a fixture, only the football elites can do that.

I should imagine as soon as the international squads are announced.

Bad news for anyone already booked I feel for you.

But, good news for us, they're on serious form, they won their last 6 games of 15/16, and carried it on this season they've already scored 14 with 4 wins from 5. Unless they're genuinely that good, be better to let this form fizzle out IMO.

No. Read the whole thread. Any team that has a certain number of international call ups may get the game postponed.

I've tweeted both clubs and the cafc ticket guys today and no one has replied. I can only guess they have as much idea as the rest of us!

To be fair no one will know until we know what players are called up. You can always email the English, Welsh, Northern Irish and DR Congo FA's if you wish.

Note that the coach info for Scunthorpe is not on the OS, although Fleetwood the following week is. There's really nothing to prevent the club assisting supporters by reporting a potential issue with the game.

    That's far too sensible, AB.

I just phoned the club, the lady who i spoke to said they might not know until early next week.
Guess I'll have to hold off buying train tickets......

Why do the club not come out and say that there may be an issue so keep it in mind when buying tickets.
Would be helpful for everyone thinking of going and saves them the hassle of more refunds if it is moved.

They or us have to give 7 days notice if they wanna call off a game. So they should know no later than Saturday.
