Pleased with this. I want to see what the 31 year man is all about when it gets re-arranged to a Tuesday night in January.

Bad news for those planning to go next Saturday. But good news for me, I can now drag a couple of mates along to the rearranged Tuesday night game!

My uncle told me at the start of last season he was going to do 31 years of consecutive games to bring him up to his 85th birthday.

He's already missed 3 from last season with feeble excuses such as his daughters' birthdays and family holiday's etc, and is actually missing Bolton at home on Saturday, pathetic really. I was happy the game got cancelled as I feel he needs to be tested more

sneaky piece of business by Slade to recruit Botaka - means we now have 3 players who are likely to be called up & so we can call off games, whereas it would have meant playing games withiut 2 of our better players (Lookie & Maginnies)

To make sure, RS is planning to buy Gibraltar's first choice RB and a Botswana's first choice striker...

The best thing about Donny was the A1M/M18 they built avoiding the town centre via the old A1 (0nly joking @donnyaddick  ).

Guess this also means that Millwall and Swindon could be postponed then?

Good point, but with Swindon game on sky i wonder if we can
It would still be called off regardless of Sky.

Guess this also means that Millwall and Swindon could be postponed then?

At the moment there isnt actually any other U20 fixtures after the 3rd September

Northern Ireland though will be playing prior to Millwall and Swindon... Whilst who knows what'll happen with the DR Congo and their fixtures... So am guessing that these two games will go ahead because it'll only be Magennis absent.

Millwall on the other hand may only lose Shaun Cummings (Jamaica) and Shane Ferguson (Nothern Ireland) prior to our match so dont expect that one to be postponed whilst Swindon will only lose Yaser Kasim (Iraq) to International Duty prior to our game
Doesn't matter if Northern Ireland play prior to Millwall and Swindon. If a player is called up they miss the games.

In a country where the Football Association and Leagues cared about their fans surely this would either be preventable or, worst case scenario, fans would be reimbursed for the train tickets they purchased for a fixture that was called off. But oh wait, it's England and the FA don't care...

    dr congo vs libya 02/10/16
    dr congo vs guinea 06/11/16

Who is Doctor Congo and why is he playing football against African nations?
Now you know why its so difficult to see your GP because they're off playing Sport all the time

Morgan Fox and Andrews Crofts havent been called up by Wales

Have to wait til Sunday to see if Rudd, Solly, Johnson, Lennon, Jackson, Holmes, Ajose, Lookman and Novak get the call though.

Bauer, Teixeira, Foley, Ba and Botaka also waiting

Seriously, how the fuck can third tier football be affected by international call ups? Imagine if they did it with the African cup of nations, no-one would play football for that whole period. If it means Botaka isn't on the bench for a game and KAG and Hanlan are both in it instead, then fine
KAG and Hanlan may not be with us by then.
Kennedy and Umerah then, or Aribo and Yamfam, who cares? Point is, clubs in the third division should just get on with it, it's not like we will have 15 players called up
I think all clubs should get on with it... Man City and Man Utd included should play who is left available

    Would make the Leagues interesting
This used to happen in England as well. The home internationals were played during the season. The England v Scotland match would always be a Saturday. I actually remember going to game Arsenal v Manure when I was young and neither Law or Charlton were playing. The Ht score was called over the tannoy at half time!

I find the railway line out of Donny it's more appealing attraction. Doncaster is dead to me after they selfishly got relegated denying me an easy away fixture. Looking forward to scunny even if it's another wet Tuesday and just the fifty of us.

For all fans that have booked train travel to this game,i feel gutted for you.You pay enough already for trains so trying to save alitte bit by advance booking you have all been kicked into touch.

Something has to be done for the fans that have booked travell.....How about the CEO digs into her own pocket and refunds the Charlton fans.

I'm sure it's what they do in cricket, I'm not sure about rugby though, any egg chasers know?
No postponements in Rugby. They just get on with it.

Now that the game has been called off is anybody interested in going to a non-league game in the area?

Goole v Bamber Bridge in the Evo Stik is on.

Goole is on the way to Scunthorpe so tickets will be valid for this journey. This is one way of salvaging something from the tickets and anybody who has not been to a non-league game before may enjoy the amateur game.

Turn it in Ffs.Goole v Bamber Bridge! Leave off.
