He thinks he should be managing in Premiership. He has proved nothing.
That's very harsh. Everyone thought he was a nutjob destined for spectacular failure, and he steered a dead and buried club to safety. So he's definitely proved something.
Think he's earned a crack at a League 1 club, or a League 2 promotion challenger.
I recently typed how well he was doing .. See the Hermannator was his asst .. Quote 'Like the Macclesfield players, it's understood the 44-year-old and his assistant Hermann Hreidarsson have not been paid their salary on time in recent months'. UnQ
Dodgy owners should be locked in the Macclesfield stocks and pelted with manky silk worms

We thought the same about Riga. Riga achieved more in less time.
He could easily get another job if he has reasonable wage demands.
Huddersfield manager gone. 5.6% win rate, makes our guy from Belgium whose name I could never be bothered to remember, look like pep!!
That’s a little harsh in my opinion. He has a horrific win % and they’ve not got off to the best start this season, but when you’re in that kind of run of form where they just look as though they have lost any knowledge of how to win a game, it’s always going to be tough and they were never going to be challenging this season. You don’t go from that team and form last season to suddenly competing well the next.
If given the time he could have steadied them but instead they’ve shot themselves in the foot with backing him this summer for the players he wanted to bring in, to sack him within the first 3 weeks of the season.
Huddersfield will struggle this season either way, they’re lucky they have Grant up front who will score regularly as that could even be their saving grace.
"Phil Parkinson cares. Once sat next to him at Carlisle. He was on a scouting trip for Charlton, drove through night, and slept at training ground so he was ready for his players next day. He deserves far better than this farce."

Would like to see him appointed at a team higher up in League Two (maybe League One) but still a long way to go

Worth having a bet on him becoming the next Huddersfield boss...
Plenty of the usual names on this list, the likes of Hughton, Adkins, Rowett, Monk, Coleman, Karanka, Pearson, Pulis all available
Some fella called Steve Gritt (Ever heard of him?) will be assisting him alongside Danny Whitaker (a Macclesfield club Legend)
Mark Bowen appointed Sporting Director at Reading, so that's yet another former player we'll face this season!
Parky resigns from Bolton.
Nobody could have done more.

Good luck Mr Parkinson, one of the good guys.
