Obviously there are strict betting rules and he knew that but if he didn’t know any of the players, coaches etc to gain inside information, it’s not exactly crime of the century. They seriously need someone who is going to tighten up that defence and stop them conceding so many goals. Otherwise, as things are going Southend are going to get cut adrift from everyone else above them and there will only be one relegation space to fill in League One.
