  • It's not all bad news tonight, at least Roger Johnson will have picked up an appearance bonus, and if you don't like it.... ( you know the rest).

Reading on Twitter about verbals between players and fans again. Can anyone shed more light on it? Apparently Pearce and Rudd involved.

Supposedly a kid was shouting and spurring the team on , to which Pearce in the dug out responded "fuck off, isn't it past your bedtime"
    ?!

Johnson's back in the squad I see..

There really is no bottom to this fall, is there?

Yes eventually but we have to be patient  .

  • Having left at h/t I missed the Pearce/lad confrontation, but during the first half there was indeed a pretty vocal kid getting increasingly wound up, and JP16 was at that end of the dugout. His Lardship just stood there oblivious to it all, immobile and largely silent.

No surprise really if this is true, Slade/the club failed to deal with Johnsons outburst so it's probably deemed OK.

Maybe the kid expressed a dislike of losing?

  • How I love reading you guys when pissed. Love the game, hate Belgians.........

Decided after not renewing my season ticket for the first time since 1990, cause of the Belgian Clowns in charge, that I would only go to home games when I'm not working (An easy option as a shift worker, but saves on your annual leave) that I would go this evening.

I missed the Rochdale game so I was more than aware that tonight was not going to be a confident eleven out there

Couple of pints on the Royal Oak with a few lifers before the game and then into my seat which unbeknown to me was right in the front of the directors box. Not enough alcohol in my system or brave enough to say towards the Belgian Grinner and the Perks's I'm afraid but to be honest I don't think they give a Shit of what people say anymore (Apart from Mrs Perks who had a words with a disgruntled fan at the end).

Slade is a dead man walking. Just stood there for the majority of the game with his arms folded and hardly said a word.

Who plays the music at HT? Very apt songs tonight

    Figure it out. Royal Blood
    Satisfaction. The Rolling Stones

Who gives a shit. CAFC RIP.
I wanted to get to the southern regional final at least. I care

I say that sat watching Michael Portillo's great railway journeys from the comfort of my bed at home. That's how much I care
I know mate... that new high speed rail line in Morocco looks the dogs danglies don't it?
Really good programme, he is an excellent presenter. Very impressed with Morocco and how they have absorbed much of the western way of life but still retain their heritage. Oh sorry, this is a football thread but then we are talking about CAFC. Just how many wallies actually went tonight... and more to the point, WHY!!

Don't worry. I hear that Pearce is going to apologise to Slade for it, that's all that matters remember..

On the other hand, Johnson must be quite jealous - judging by the attendance tonight, it would appear as though Pearce has probably sworn at a higher percentage of the crowd than Johnson could ever dream of!

    Is that water boarding?
  • Pearce is a real leader and great character for the squad. Slade had to fight hard to get him. Can't believe he is the sort to swear at a young kid.

I just watch to plan mine and Katrien's next getaway. I'm toying with a day return to 3 bridges this weekend given the intl break

Jesus Crofts has been called up by Wales????

That's exactly what I was gonna say. Is she for real? I've never really paid much attention to her, but what a ludicrous statement

No he genuinely has been called up!!!

Yeah dont think Pearce would have said something had there not been abuse towards the team from the kid, he doesnt seem that sort of person whilst Johnson is just a prick

Good point. You're right, it's OK to tell kids to fuck off. Mark Kinsella would approve.
