  • New Found Glory
    Jimmy Eat World
  • I hate to say this but there's a really good band called Palace
  • Apartment.....a one album wonder.
  • Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Great band but don't play much. They seem to record an album and tour every 3 years then disappear. I think Karen O has had a baby so not sure when they will next be on the road.

Rudy Warman and the Heavy Weather.

Both up and coming rather than past it although coast have been around for a few years.
  • After 30 years, still the best band you've never heard of - Buffalo Tom

If you can get past the cutesy outfits and the fact that it's all in Japanese - Band-Maid
  • Tom Misch & Carmody

    Cable

CABLE - what a great band, down-lift the up-trodden is one of my favourite albums
All three albums are great, you can hear a progression as you work through them, but no lack of quality or power in the songs. The Brixton Prison live EP is good too.

Also, some great non album stuff on the singles - the "Blue Birds Are Blue" EP is probably the pick.

Agree they are a great band.

I bought, Show your Bones a few years ago and it took me till recently to get into it. I've now bought, Fever to Tell and It's Blitz both very good albums.
