Despite me despising the regime I am still a Charlton fan and want us to win every week.I think that all new Manager's should be given a chance. Karl Robinson is no different.15

If you scroll down her page towards the end of October, there's tons of messages from fans who clearly rated Robinson and didn't want him sackedWSS said:0 -

I'd say most. If we get another network nobody at some point, they will not have my support at all.dickplumb said:Despite me despising the regime I am still a Charlton fan and want us to win every week.I think that all new Manager's should be given a chance. Karl Robinson is no different.

I know a MKD player through his Dad and he speaks very, very highly of him.4

Hold up a minute...
Do we really want a bloke who carries a handbag around with him as manager?14 -
He's reportedly worried about the fans protesting, but it's okay because here he says that he "can't get involved with the fans" and what's going on in the stands around him on a match day. We'll keep you to that Karl!

At the end of our home game against MK last season, I had shouted out my thoughts to Karl Robinson, on the manner that his side had cheated and coned their way to a draw. His response to me was fairly direct, in putting over his views to me . I just replied, "That's football for you Karl". We shook hands, a firm handshake, and agreed to differ. I liked his response and his attitude, he will do for me.16

I've never had a problem with him. I'm fully behind him but one thing is for sure he needs to keeps his comments about the protests to himself otherwise he will soon lose support from the fans.8

I wouldn't mind a Tony Pullid though, then I can handle the aged baseball cap wearerRed_in_SE8 said:

I remember you telling me that at the time. But I am sure you also used some words about our Karl which, for good taste, might be left unrepeated.BDL said:To be honest I cannot recall the exact words, it was said to me as he walked past after I'd said something to him about Chris Powell's team in League one but that was the gist of it and basket case was used.
Welcome Karl!0 -
Beating AFC Wimbledon is a success in this guys eyes. That's why I hate them so much. Because of Roland and what he has done to charlton, I don't care who we appoint or what the manager has done previously. He will be sacked by Easter and we will continue to be a joke of a clubForeverAddickted said:One comment from an MK Dons fan...

I believe that Karl Robinson could be the perfect manager at Charlton.
I think that at the right club he could turn into one hell of a manager, potentially another Curbs in the making.
He certainly did OK for MK Dons. Working with one of the smallest budgets his teams always punched above their weight. OK they got relegated last season but that was inevitable with the quality of some of the championship teams.
Given the backing and the resources I reckon he could motivate a team to do very well, however this is Charlton that we are talking about. Will Roland ever give any manager the backing and the time to get things right?
If Robinson gets the job I will back him because the current madness at the Valley has to stop and the club needs to concentrate on getting back to the Championship.12 -
To be fair, he does say he started following them when he was 10. Presumably most of his mates at school supported Chelsea or Man U. Now I despise the franchise thing but it's hardly fair to expect a 10 year old to understand it.Todds_right_hook said:

And AFC are clearly MK's main rivals, simply because of that history. That was one of both team's biggest games. (FWIW I wanted AFC to win as did almost everyone else).3 -

Welcome Karl!
That stems back from.the night we tonked Huddersfield on the way to the title and our Karl was there for Sky, walked past us (me, @KillersBeard and @PeteF ) outside the press room. He wasn't impressed by us if I recall ;-)0 -
Come on guys let's have a sense of decency - Community Club and all that - Karl Robinson is probably the best when can hope for, through no fault of his. Let's give him a warm CAFC welcome and save our vitriol for attendees of the regime!1
