Notice the extra excuses from Robinson... 2/3rd's down. What a cock he is. Always excuses from the scouser... on a separate issue, this is why we don't want Roland to keep hold of the Valley and Sparrows Lane. The whole lot has to go.
Oxford United manager Karl Robinson also expressed his frustration at the arrangement, claiming the team were unable to train on the pitch without paying a £3,000 fee.
The U’s boss also called the three-sided ground ‘probably the worst-designed stadium in the country'.
“Honestly, we hate playing there,” Mr Robinson said. “It doesn't feel like home.”
Mr Kassam hit back at this as well, saying: “For the manager to blame the stadium for their poor results is rubbish.
“When Michael Appleton was manager, he asked a few times to train on the pitch and we were very flexible and relaxed about it all, because at the time they would pay for the maintenance of the pitch.
“Now, I am not being flexible because any costs occurred are not being paid for by the club.
ricky holmes left us to better himself and going to be relegated with oxford.
Holmes drop in form is a bit puzzling. He looked exceptional with us much of the time, hardly featured at Sheffield U and has now tanked at Oxford. Given he is now 31, his season with us in 2016-2017 looks like being the best he'll achieve.
As a club Oxford are in a real mess, with the split ownership of club and ground, and unsatisfactory 3 sided ground
I bet KR wishes he never jumped ship, indeed if he hadn't jumped ship he would probably still be our manager, seeing that the takeover still hasn't happened...

Signed a 2 and a half year deal with us and left with a year to go so got a pay off (i assume) from us. Then signed a 2 and a half year deal with Oxford, and could be gone within 6 months with another pay off. He's laughing.
So he's done 2 years work for 5 years money. He's laughing all the way to the nearest kebab shop.

He was almost begging to leave. I doubt he received any pay off.
I doubt he got any payoff. Most payoffs are negotiated with earnings on your next contract taking into account. Seen as he signed terms with Oxford on the day he left, I'd think he resigned and it was accepted. If he'd negotiated terms and witheld information that he was signing for Oxford on the same day, I'd guess he'd have broken his termination agreement.

Agreed. He basically swapped one job for another. No payoff as he was the one who resigned.
As I said, he took this job assuming new owners would come in and replace him anyway. That went well...
I'm wondering if his was the stadium he showed his daughter before he joined us. Said she told him there was no comparison & he chose us because of it.

And some people say he never comes up fresh ideas.
Charltonized in a double negative sort of way?I read it and think Robinson's been sacked by Oxford.
And I fall for it every time. It's doing my head in! Grrrr!
