Will Lewis be there till the end or does he have to go early like usual?
I think he'll be there till the end but if there is only one door that you and Lewis are walking towards, maybe let him go through first... If you try to block him he might launch a high booted block at you!!
I would like to bring some Gravitas to this thread by ignoring the jokes at the young Ex West Ham player's Expense and say to Lewis; I hope your next match will be 3rd time lucky, and this will be a new chapter in your CAFC career and you don't get booked, plus i hope it's at the Valley in a Tome match.

Reminds me of Sweaty's first two games, but he certainly did well for us
Chair @killerjerrylee kicked off the night with "we might as well get this one out of the way we hope you can stick around all evening Lewis".
Lewis said banned for two games as previously sent off for Coventry
Jason said surgeon had opened hole in groin to get to injury and repair but stitches had got infected and the procedure he has on Saturday during the Bolton game was to sort this out. When that has gone (few days) should be back to running and getting fitness back. First major injury of his career. Says we have a good medical team and plenty of physios etc to look after you.
Asked about coaches said that Nugent hasn't been around the training ground.
O'Loughlin does the warm up stuff and then the gaffer takes over. Simon Clark does a lot of the tactical and dead ball situations.
LP said he was surprised that training at Charlton similar to West Ham ie very high tempo and tactical "100%" rather than at Coventry were more laid back and very much focusing on free kicks and corners. "Maybe that was the problem" (at Coventry).
JP is doing his B licence and is coaching the U16 as is Jackson. Jacko not coaching the first team. JJ wants to go into coaching and JP thinks he'd like to do that at Charlton as been here a long time.
JP said that under Slade focus was more on the opposition. LP said that Robinson is tactical and clear what he wants players to do but also allows them freedom to "play their own game" and encourages that which LP likes.
On chances of going up JP compared us to Wigan who also "started slowly". He said they had goals in their side and it's goals that win you games. They had a big budget and good players but went on a late run to win the league. Doesn't expect us to do that but can have a run and reach the play-offs. Both expect to finish top six.
LP has played against Mavididi when at West Ham. Looks slight but fast, gets off snap shots and stays between the posts (doesn't drift out wide or deep), a "poacher"
JP asked about holding opposition players said "I'm a dirty player"
He said later when asked about his own goal scoring "If I smash someone in a tackle it's like a goal to me" Said his role at attacking corners and free kicks is more about being a nuisance that scoring.
Knows and has played with and against Steve Morrision. Can't remember Morrison scoring against him. JP likes a physical battle and LP likes to put a tackle in too.
"Banter" and dressing room different and better JP said he's been told by Jacko and Solly (than previous seasons) More togetherness and less players going straight home after training. Players play cards (four groups of four sometimes) on away coach which JP thinks is much better than sitting with headphones on as players talk about what they have been doing and the birds they've been with "Not me, I'm married but you should listen to Pagey"
Roger Johnson has "no filter" so he just says what he thinks to anyone at anytime. JP said that is a good thing sometimes, others not.
Enjoyed being captain at other clubs and would be happy to do it here but behind others and fine with that. Jacko is club captain.
is it just me, but I wouldn't have recognised either of the two lads if they were stood next to me at the bar !
They arrived together but in seperate cars. I went outside to greet them and said hello to Lewis and then realised it was Jason as the guy getting out of the other car was smaller and younger and so had to be Lewis

Was that partly under Slade as well at Coventry or had Lewis gone back to West Ham before Russell joined?

Good to see we're doing this at Charlton as it must really help the youngsters coming through being coached by current players... I think Lampard said when he retired that he wanted to do his coaching badges now (like other top ex-players) yet with the likes of Solly | Harriott | Jackson doing it well before they retire, it makes you wonder what the hell they're doing waiting so long
Thanks for the write up Henry, I've said it before, but I do like Robinson's approach to the game. Really struggling to take to him as a bloke but sounds like the players are enjoying life under our latest manager.

it was a JOKE, what the hell is wrong with you?
Typical leftie PC gone mad reaction
Lewis had never done anything like this before but came over well. Personalised number plates too.
Pearce very comfortable and can see why he's been captain at all his previous clubs.
More tomorrow.

@Mosscat @Covered End @soapboxsam @charltonnick and a few other lifers were there so they might remember some more
There was a lot of talk about other managers they have played under such as Howe and Warnock (JP) and big Sam and Bilic (LP)
Thanks to Jack O'Sullivan and Olly Groome from the club or coming along and organising/publicising.
I'll keep on at Jack and Tracey Leaburn about getting Robinson along this season or next (I know, I know you don't have to say it but we can only ask)
Thanks for the 40 people who turned up who all seemed to enjoy it.

In my defence it was dark in the car park
