I know it will be a difficult decision, but I don't think any of us would begrudge her that on the basis that at the time, before all this she would've been going through hell trying to plan the funeral given the circumstance.
Sometimes you just need a little break and a little luck and she hasn't had much of that recently. I think an excess going toward her studies would be a fitting use of people's donations. Just my personal opinion
Just read this for the first time this morning. I remember Ian in the 70's knocking around with the Orpington/Chelsfield lot when I lived up there. Having read that £3K was raised to pay for his burial in less than 24 hours makes me so proud to be a Charlton supporter. Most of the people who donated probably don't have a clue who he was, but still they gave. Well done everyone. WE are the people!

Agree 100% , added to the fact that she's doing her studies to be a nurse and to help those in need - this is her Time of need and should support her in achieving something her dad would have been proud of! Never know, one of us may be in hospital being looked after by Becky one day!

I donated earlier. This is what makes Charlton fans special, we always stump up for a good cause, or one of our own, even if we never knew them. This is what makes us "weird" Kat, something you'll never understand.
105 people (and counting) have rallied round so far and chipped in. That number seems just as impressive as the fact that the money was raised in so short a time.

I don't think I can extract the money until the page closes, and people have asked we leave it open for a while, i'm happy to pay the bill and sort out after.
