    Throw now just inside Shrews half. Brown forward and Konsa cuts out - Holmes now to Magennis, Sadler recovers from their battering and clears long. Konsa - half time, 2-1 Charlton.

    Great to be leading a game again - feels like it's been a while.

    3 points is the most important thing, but what I want to see now is us score a proper goal in the second half. Ricky Holmes' efforts both sound like great strikes, but you can't rely on scoring 2 screamers every week. We need to start scoring proper goals again - not one off screamers, or scruffy goals from mistakes, or corners - a goal that is the direct result of some controlled build up and a pass which puts someone through on goal or a quality cross met well with a header, that sort of thing.

    The kind of goal that you watch the replay of and you think the players knew exactly what they were doing to create that chance.
