Thanks to the "old guard" of Mick & Olly, a fitting & poignant tribute to a very special Addick will be held on Tuesday evening and will be respected by everyone in the ground.
For one night at least, we'll have OUR Charlton back.
Well done the club and I haven't said that in a while. Only got back a few days ago, but sadly can't make this as have booked flights to go back to Scotland to sort out my mum's house (after she passed away in January) .Will be with you in spirit; a special night
It's really touching, and a testament to the kind of people Charlton fans are, that everyone on this thread has been willing to put aside their issues with the club for a larger purpose. It would be easy, after putting up with so much for so long, to become entrenched in our cynicism, to the point that we will struggle to change attitudes once things at the club have changed. This thread gives me tremendous hope for the future of our fanbase.
Well done the club and even better the players - perhaps the club could donate 100% as well.
And no excuses everyone should sing "PC Keith Palmer he's one of our own" if only to demonstrate that the terrorists will never win - if we do I'm sure it will be reported far and wide.
Appropriate from the club - feels like old Charlton. So sad it is as result of such a tragedy. I've managed to arrange a couple of other reasons to combine in a trip to London and have just bought my ticket.
Well done the players. Club will probably double sales and end up not actually contributing anything but do hope it's a big crowd. Should be 100% contribution imo at least guarantee everything over normal sales plus 50% of normal.
Most of us have the choice to go to The Valley with our friends and family, Keith's don't - please get there if you can as PC Palmer takes his seat in the Covered End in the sky.
will be my 1st midweek game in just under 2 years, and will be my last until current ownership goes, apart from a fitting tribute to a man that paid the ultimate sacrifice, it shows what football fans can do, and that we do care about our club and the supporters of it.
Was upset when they moved it to Tuesday night in the first place - but would still have been there. Unfortunately its half-term week and will be away. Always try and arrange holidays around home games so going away Saturday 1st and back Friday 7th so as not to miss the Southend game on 8th. Am really disappointed not to be there. Will be there in spirit on the evening.

Same here. Will try and do something from Gibraltar.

Long may it last.
Sleep tight, Keith.
Beautifully put FF. Add my thanks to Mick and Olly too.
Well done cafc. now lets try and get as many fans through the gates on the 4th and show support for PC Palmer and his family. Leave the protests at home for a change.

So pleased also that it will be a minutes silence too.
